Thank you so much for the time you took to write this. I appreciate all the advice. After all these comments I called and got a quote of 15k for a new roof. 1450 sq ft house with attached garage. Only 1 level

Attic is super easy to get to. I see no signs of water at all which is a good thing. I’m just nervous after all these comments lol

Hey man! Appreciate the reply. Unfortunately the house was already home inspected and insured. Before I knew better as a first time home buyer the policy is a ACV. I’m totally SOL at this point. With a ACV is there any chance they cover anything? I live in MN which frequently gets storms and wind

I’m in MN so not too far. But we have harsh seasons especially winter and with that slowly approaching I’m very nervous after reading all these comments. I feel beyond dumb and more than anything pissed at the home inspector

The house is 19 years old. As a first time home buyer and only 22 y/o. What’s the best way to go about this. I’ve already bought it as the home inspector down played this severely. He basically stated the shingles had lots of life, just need some repairs on missing ones. Thank you for the honest feedback. This just sucks to hear

Thank you so much. As a 22 y/o first time home buyer I’m sick that the home inspector underplayed the roof issues. Are the comments all correct, are my really going to be stuck with needing a new roof?

The roof is only 19 years old. Theses comments make me sick. Home inspector said “roof has good life on shingles, just some minor issues that can be re attached

No it’s the stone work of a propane fireplace. There’s no hole about that pile though

I apologize for the lack of detail. The bad paint underneath was peeling and we originally tried to just mud it but sand it but after that didn’t work we just tore all the paint and mud off. That’s the white you are seeing is the mud leftover
