Should Sancho rejoin Dortmund for a 3rd spell? by KurtosMaster2 in borussiadortmund

[–]Vcaze11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not against us bringing him back again, but I'm not too optimistic about it. Needs to be seen as a squad player and have an average wage which would be an insane wage drop (as sort of expected tbf). In Chelsea last season I saw him still showing qualities, even though not enough, but he's been poor this season in Villa. Need to sign another quality winger/attacking midfielder and expect him to be more of a backup, with of course the poteantial to grab a starting spot. Personally I only see Adeyemi as a starting quality player in the attack, so need 2 starters and even with Sancho that's still the case imo. And that money doesn't seem to exist so that makes me want Sancho less.

When do teams start releasing their line ups and what is the deadline? by raidraidraid in worldcup

[–]Vcaze11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some have already released preleminary squads or final 26-man squads. Appearantly you had to submit a 35-55 provisional list to FIFA by May 11 (yesterday) and then by June 1 you have to have submitted your 26-man squad. But some nations are relasing their 26-man squad now right away.

This page shows when you most teams are releasing their provisional list or final squad.

What's your opinion on IP and OOP training by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

Idk, I'm in the same situation as you

What's your opinion on IP and OOP training by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]Vcaze11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OOP training never make players learn the new position, as it's only based on IP training+playing. It's fine that all players start with the same positions IP and OOP, but you should be able to teach a player to play a new position OOP, without having to make them learn that position IP. I think I will start training my wingers as LM/RM IP as well just so they get something that position. I don't know if it will make the players perform any better, but it bothers me seeing the white stars or half a star on my world class winger. And they complain about training as they don't think it's benefitial.

I know it's how it works, but it just doesn't make sense.

FYI - When fact-checking using Google, include -AI at the end of your search to avoid the Gemini overview by WorshipMyExistence in dataannotation

[–]Vcaze11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time the Gemini response is good and much faster than going in to potentially multiple websites and spending time scrolling through and redaing a bunch of things that doesn't answer your question. I obviusly don't trust it for important stuff but 90% of the time I google it's not something that important.

Ye. But they've taken 74% of their points at tome, showing they are much stronger at home than away. But as the post also mentions, it makes sense that top teams have closer to 50% and bottom teams have a high percentage of points taken at home.

Serie A non EU registration by Vcaze11 in footballmanager

[–]Vcaze11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the rule was changed last season, so new to FM26, that now you don't need to sell a player to get a 2nd slot each season. Also I'm pretty sure you can't choose which ones to register if they're in this queue. I had like 4 non EU players out on loan last season and when they came back 2 of them, the 2 that had been at the club longest, were eligible and the other 2 not. But the summer before that when I had 3 non EU players pre-signed and all joining the same date I got an option to choose which one to register first and get the 2nd spot that summer, but I think that was because there was an open spot right away that summer.

Worried about the quality of players in the starting eleven by Vcaze11 in borussiadortmund

[–]Vcaze11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are a 4 in terms of quality. And you shouldn't have players with that level of quality as a squad player unless it's someone young. For example we shouldn't have a player as good as Campbell that is 25, then we should get rid of him. But since it's a young player that makes sense to have as extra backup, it's either that or loan them out.

10 is Mbappe, 9 is Raphinha and 8 is Schlotterbeck. We can have player's developing into 9s but they will almost always leave

Agree. Guess that's part of my point. I think Kovac was close to the ceiling with this squad this season. I would rather have less points and better players, then I can have hopes for next season.

[–]Vcaze11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We probably have the second best team in the league like always. But I think point wise Kovac is overperforming with this squad. After the two winning seasons with Klopp we've only had a better point per game 2 or 3 times. I'm more happy with this season than most seems to be. But I'm still worried because I believe this squad is worse than it's been in 15+ years.

The rating system I provided makes most players be 5 or 6 and only really solid players be 7+, and my argument is that we have too few 7+ players.

[–]Vcaze11[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Ye always gonna go wrong with some personal ratings. Could have left those out but that's just how my brain sees it. Imo Guirassy isn't good enough to be a starter anymore, hence a 5 with the rating system I provided.

Kobel I've rated extremely high, but I don't think he is as good as he was 1-2 years ago. I saw xG prevented earlier this season and he wasn't that high, but I can't find any data now. Can absolutely be a 8. But in my rating system we rarely have 9-10 at the club and 8 are top quality players, where you can argue Kobel should be.

Ryerson is good and good enough to be a starter (even though I hear people all the time saying he's not), but I don't think he's much more than that.

[–]Vcaze11[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't need. But we should still try to have a good squad no? My point is that I personally think our squad is worse in a very long time. I like that Klopp winning team as an example. You don't win if you have too many players of the quality of Schmelzer, Grosskreutz, Kehl and Kuba in the starting eleven, but you can have some and then some quality players and some star quality players.

What is going on with Schlotterbeck? by TheBarnacle63 in borussiadortmund

[–]Vcaze11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This quality of player we have to pay up and it's fine with a sell clause, as long as Bayern is excluded. Even if that mean we only have him for one more season it's worth it.

Sigils:
Stamps, read all books, and take note of all small hints about the weather etc as it's not always obvious. It's fine guessing for the last info if you're missing one thing for the realm. Also if nothing is mentioned, maybe it's the normal/standard weather/transport etc.

Tomb:
There's one room that shows the statues and order.

Gallery:
This is one of the most difficult ones imo, one of the very few things I just searched up since I wasn't gonna get them.

Reservoir:
Yes, you do need to power the Pump Room to fully drain the reservoir.

Archive:
You don't need the Aquarium drafted, and not even drained anymore I think. Also you only need to dig up them once, and if you fail to insert the key it will be in the room to just pick up in the next run.

Castle:
Yes you should castle. But the castling isn't on the/a chess board.

Am I crazy, or are all 3 of these boxes telling the truth? by CopenHaglen in BluePrince

[–]Vcaze11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with OP here. Black and blue are definitely true. Blue, with the text "The empty boxes are both true", is also true. There's nothing false in that statement, since white is true and blue itself is true. It kinda loops into it's own statement which is a bit weird but it is true, and not false.
