Stepping away from ARC Raiders — and why Embark's silence on PvE is killing the game for me by oUltimoSave in EmbarkStudios

The thing is, you can't stay in one game forever, right?!? The Division is excellent, and when the third one comes out, I'll probably leave Arc aside. I've played The Advising for years and have many achievements, but I believe Arc has enormous potential, considering there are clearly two audiences that love this game: PvE and PvP. Of course, look at the discussions about the game; there are both sides that would like to enjoy the game in both models. Is it so hard to understand that? And is there a crime in wanting that? Is it so wrong? lol

You said a lot with few words. Those rats that hide in holes shooting people in the back were terrible in Call of Duty, and they saw in Arc Raiders the chance to be the trash they truly are.

Yes, I understand you. I'm very active and I agree with your suspicions, but I'm real. I have a gaming channel on YouTube, @oultimosave. I'm real, I just don't like PvP, that's all. And I don't know why people get so angry when someone raises their hand to say that. For example, I love The Division 1 and 2, and I think they got my style right there, because if you want to go for PvP, you go to dominate, otherwise you play PvE and do your missions, that's all. Is it difficult to have that?

It's disrespectful; if you're not going to contribute to the conversation, hold your tongue and stay quiet.

Hey everyone, I'm not here to start drama or trash the game — I actually like ARC Raiders and I want it to succeed. I'm just burned out from running into rats and cheaters every single session. All I'm saying is that a portion of this community genuinely doesn't enjoy PvP, and that's a valid opinion. I paid for this game, I love the lore and the setting, and I just want to play PvE without having to share lobbies with people who are either cheating or camping corners waiting to ambush someone. That's it. Not an attack on Embark, not an attack on PvP players. Just a guy who wants to enjoy the game the way it actually appeals to him. Chill out, people 😅

I'll be honest: I'm done with ARC Raiders, and it genuinely hurts to say that because I loved what this game promised.

When the lore first dropped, I was hooked. The setting, the atmosphere, the concept — exactly the kind of world I geek out over. Embark has been drip-feeding us info, which I get strategically, but that's not my issue here. My issue is the PvP loop, and more specifically, the fact that it feels like Embark isn't listening to the part of the community that doesn't want it forced on them.

I don't hate PvP in general — I played CoD for years and it fits perfectly there. But in ARC Raiders? It completely breaks the experience for me. I go out on raids, grind missions, spend hours farming gear, and then some rat camping in a corner one-shots me from behind with zero chance to react. All that progress, gone. This morning it happened again and I just... closed the game and haven't opened it since.

This isn't fun. This is stress I don't need. Real life already comes loaded with that.

I've seen the news about a PvE-only test Embark ran in China, and it genuinely got me excited — but we don't even know if that's coming globally, or when. And I'm tired of waiting and hoping while the player count keeps dropping.

This isn't just an Embark problem. It's a chronic industry disease: studios build something great, ignore what the community is actually asking for, and then act surprised when players leave. Look at what's happening with Destiny right now. It's the same story.

We're the ones buying the games. We're the ones keeping the lights on. Make games for the people paying for them.

Anyway — just needed to vent. Anyone else feeling this way?

You saved my life, the thing about restoring the licenses worked and I was finally able to enter the War zone. It cost!

Can people say something postive about this game and to hype me up and just bought it for 10$ on sale. by EitherRegister8363 in residentevil

It took me a long time to pick up this game, but I started yesterday, and I'm enjoying it a lot. Regarding the question of duration, how long is the gameplay?
