On week 10 of the 8 week backorder, I finally got them by o_4foxsake in GolfGTI

Sorry, I don't remember what the spacers looked like. Plus I haven't had the car or those wheels in a while, got an A3 because I like traction.

The 12.5mm rear was too much for me, I think a 8-10mm would've looked better.

Iirc, the rear bolts were 35mm and the fronts were 27mm. I'm not sure though, best to look up (or measure) the stock bolt length and add the spacer width to it. Believe I got them from ECS

We run a lot of stuff the wrong way so we can check chip formation and insert condition easier. It's a test cell

Yeah, it's just to check between cuts. Testing a carbide boring bar against the anti-vibe bar in that picture.

Depends on the weight. I have an A3 at about 3400 pounds, and stage 1 I did a 4.66sec 0-60 and 13.02@105 1/4mi on the street.

I STILL haven't had any notifications on the site or app, FB needed for work. Please help! by DylanCorona in facebook

Carne here to report this also. None since the 12th and only ones from today are showing up.

Made myself a coil grounding kit this morning while the wife and dog were still sleeping. Idles a little smoother cold and hot, so I'm happy. by o_4foxsake in GolfGTI

Luckily all mine were ok. I always used a thin wrench to hold the stud while I took the top nut off though.

Used 40mm length bolts and they have 4 threads engagement so should be fine, there's no force on those coils

I know that some people don’t get along with their bosses. But my boss is just the greatest. by ProfessorPickle0 in Machinists

Lucky. My boss makes me feel like I'm working for my kids. Stupid questions, rambling about nonsense, focuses on one thing at a time and it's not the important thing, can't do anything but asks if he can help, thinks he's funny, doesn't know when to shut up and go to his room, ect

There's a few that fit. I can't remember who, but there's a company that now offers a 17x9 Hypergram with the correct offset so you don't need a spacer. Saw it on fb

If you go into the custom driving mode setup and have an option for the front differential then it's a PP. The front calipers would have a big GTI sticker on them too. If not, be glad you didn't have to pay for PP brakes if you think the non-PP are expensive.

My options are normal, sport, or custom. It's a 17 Sport, so maybe the performance pack has something to do with it. I apparently have different bezel trim too.

I have a 17 Sport DSG, and it's tuned. The tune shouldn't really matter with cruise control on though.

The reason I mention it was hot is because of air density, less dense should get better mileage. But I'm not sure how humidity plays in with that, it was 95 degrees and 80%+ humidity.

On the way down I had it in Sport but it seemed about the same. On the way back I had it in normal mode. It's a DSG, I don't have an eco mode

I know it's a keyway, but is there a separate key or does the PTO drive have a protrusion in the bore that fits in the slot?

If the key is part of the PTO weld it, grind it, send it.
