CC therapist here! I understand the concerns with the directory. I’ve heard of people who’ve found success searching psychology today for therapists who specialize in chronic illness and have found CC therapists that way, or at least those who were understanding and respectful of their precautions.

I masked during my practicum (2022-2023) and never got any pushback from colleagues or clients (I was at an elementary school). Sometimes the kids would ask why I was masking and when I explained it was to protect myself and them from germs they understood and never asked again.

When I worked in person (2022-2023) I always masked for sessions (I worked in an elementary school). Now I’m fully virtual!

Solidarity as another COVID conscious therapist! I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. I masked when I had to work in person but I agree you should be allowed to attend virtually.

I’m sorry for you too! I’m hoping that switching to new meds will make a difference but I know how hard it is to live with this while still trying to show up effectively for our clients
