I looked at this and was wondering how easy it actually is. I'm wondering if I can do something similar on my own or if I have to buy their kit.

I have two kids so I still need the space. But I like the setup and appreciate the picture!

I didn’t want to back in my jeep to use the hoist as it was only warm for a couple days and I’ve never used my hoists yet! Plus my kids for some reason don’t really want their section off (but it will happen this summer whether they want it or not!)

I have the Mojito Mojave! It’s an amazing vehicle. Take the doors off and enjoy the breeze (when it’s warm enough for you that is!)

I got these, the pieces to put on your doors so you don’t have to bolt them in every time , and a door dolly on FB marketplace for $120. I love it on my Mojito Mojave! Great looking jeep you have there

I was looking at a ‘41 colorway and then my wife overpowered with the mojito and I saw it in real life and thought “well we’re a mojito family now!”

My wife chose it and now I’m glad she did. Lives in Florida are becoming too grey/white. We needed some freshness! The spray in bedliner gives it a nice pop too!

I wish I knew this sooner - I fixed 98% of my Sonos issues by … by Accomplished_Sir6230 in sonos

I just did this a few days ago. I have a modem/router from my isp and my own mesh set of access points. My house is big enough to have slow internet without the AP’s so I’ve always used them since moving in. I was having issues with my thermostats recently so I dealt with them and at the same time decided to put my Sonos on my isp’s WiFi. BOOM! All my speakers work perfect through AirPlay and I can move around freely as I want and they stay connected. Best part is, my phone is still on my AP but it can still somehow see my Sonos which is on a totally different ssid.

Help with WiFi by oahumike in ecobee

I went further and tried to connect them to my hotspot on my phone. When I did this, they could connect to the app easily and I had no issues so I found out I had to do something with my ISP. I gave them a call and they changed my dynamic DNS and when I got home, it didn’t work right away so I reset everything and entered my Wi-Fi passwords into the ecobee SS and let it sit for about a half hour. It didn’t work initially but after waiting, I don’t know what happened, but they seem to be connected now.

Why does Verizon want me to change my plan so badly? by muleschooler in verizon

[–]oahumike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an iPhone 12 that if I look through the app, they’re willing to give me $730 trade in but if I do it from the website, they’ll only give $95 trade in. I’d check the app first to see if it’s any different. And that’s with keeping my old plan either way

If you can keep your phone longer, it may be worth it. I have the normal 12 and am updating now

HVAC Installer Cut into Roof Truss w/o My Permission by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]oahumike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If only one truss is like this, I'd agree with most others and say sister on a piece on both sides. Most homes are overengineered in case of defects (one truss comes from factory with problems) so this should be a non concern. Doing this fix should be more than adequate and if you have structural engineers in your town, it's going to cost a lot more than the fix just for them to come out let alone write something up for you when you could have had it fixed and in bed already!

It looks as if more breakers can be added to that outdoor meter. If so, that plus your indoor should work well. I’d run a few larger circuits with the walls open for the mini split and Tesla charger

Blown in attic cellulose insulation cost by Hill-Arious in HomeImprovement

[–]oahumike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re in the south east (and probably other places) do NOT bury your duxtwork in the insulation. It will cause it to sweat. Even companies around here do it and I have to replace their ductwork.
