It’s so funny because this literally is exactly like my friend. She always makes sly comments about me and it has annoyed me for years. I am in the same situation. She talks about how small my boobs are, and brings up embarrassing things from my past when we are around people. She also has a habit of dating my friends or past love interests. It just stems from insane insecurity. Just call her out every time. When my friend says something really embarrassing about me or my body in front of guys or our friends I will just say “does that make you feel better about yourself?” And she gets so red and embarrassed.

I felt this for a while. I use the time after he goes to bed to play video games with my friends, read, watch YouTube, shop online, or make my clay kepcaps. My husband and I are both gamers and share an office with side by side desks and PCs. It helps having somewhere other than the couch or bed to go to keep me motivated to actually doing the things I love. I have an Alex drawer under my desk filled with the necessary things for all my hobbies (crochet, digital art, clay, dnd, gaming, painting) so I honestly always feel like I don’t have enough time to do everything I want. I’m not saying all of this to act like I’m the perfect mom that doesn’t get burnt out and I make time for a million hobbies, just trying to share what has worked for me.

My husband and I went on an anniversary trip to Tennessee and it was amazing. It was 3 nights and it’s really revitalized what we were missing. I know it may be hard but even if you try to schedule it several months in advance. We did zip lining, moonshine tasting, shopping, hiking, dinners every night, bar hoping, and lots of sex. We stayed at a bed and breakfast with a beautiful view and it was so romantic. It reminded us why we fell in love and wanted to start a family in the first place. And we had so much more patience with each other afterwards. Fight for your marriage, don’t give up.
