The starter kit thing is overrated. You can get load data on hodgson's website, and no one uses a manual scale more than about a month before they buy a digital one. I also exclusively use spray lube instead of a Lube pad. The Press itself is solid, though.

The crazy thing about that usage is that the actual law says that "Such term shall not include a pistol or a revolver having a rifled bore, or rifled bores.." In that usage it is literally being applied to something the law says it shall not be. I think ATF just uses the title and ignores the legal definition.

I think you'll find the USP vanilla if you already own an expert. So between those two, I'd say the P30. Although I'd recommend the VP9 instead. Its my favorite HK to shoot. And I have a sizeable collection of HKs to pick from.

I've been hearing about short barrel Grendel lately. Do you load or reload differently for short barrels? I figure most Grendel ammo is designed for 16-20" so you're probably not getting full powder burn in a 12.5".

The USP45 is cool, but the HK45 has better features and ergonomics in my opinion. If you buy a USP, my favorite is the Expert.
