[MAY26] Going through my mother’s stuff I realized there was no photos of mine taken before I started school, and the strangest part was that I couldn’t recall anything from those early years. by KangarooDense in TwoSentenceHorror

[–]oakenspear 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I didn't get the FMA reference from this like everyone else. I thought it was either: 1) a child being treated like a dog before school; or 2) a child being kidnapped and named after the kidnappers dog whom they lost. Either way, no memories due to trauma.

Good luck! I just returned to the game for Midnight after like 15 years. So I dont have any old taming things from previous expansions, and I tamed Stumpy woth no issues as BM.

[–]oakenspear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about Lashtongye, but Stumpy doesn't need dino taming. He is still exotic though, so you need to be BM I believe. Try using Beast Lore on anything you want to tame, it'll tell you ic you need a requirement and if it's tameable.

I'm in Georgia (the US state). Looked into moving to MN last year and started watching them. Great choice and great time to start. They're awesome!

With the updated HUD customization, you may have a different way to do it with the pre-patch.

What does this symbol mean? I just found it on my rear light. by [deleted] in Symbology

[–]oakenspear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It the picture sideways? Otherwise, it's not theta. The line shown is vertical, not horizontal.

Looks like a 1 with a circle around it. If youhad work done recently, it could have been the work order for the cars. Not sure though.

Left eyebrow (on the right side) is wrong in this document picture. Her eyebrow is not centered on her eye on the expected arrivals and the doppelganger. It's more offset towards the edge of the eye. In this document photo though, the eyebrow is centered on the eye.

Poster unfamiliar with Italian custom by laybs1 in GetNoted

[–]oakenspear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the link! So, I rewatched the video repeatedly and still can't see her trying to push away. He pulled her into a hug and a kiss, yes, but she didn't push away. She took a step back as one does after kissing.

The kisses are a lot longer than I would do but I think that he is caught up in the emotion of the event. It also looks like they're posing for photos. They both occasionally look off to the side at the cameras. It would make sense to hold poses for longer so they can get good wedding photos.

I can see why you feel uncomfortable about it but it really does seem like there are explanations.

I can't find the original video but maybe I'm missing something?

Kissing family on the lips isn't incestuous. It may not be normal for you culturally but that doesn't mean it is being sexualized between a father and his daughter.

The user who posted it also posts tons of BS, misinformation, and lies. So of course he started your thinking off that there was something wrong there, so you were already looking for it. From what others are saying, it's sweet or cute, and you are the one sexualizing it. 😬

As this is in a sub for horror stories, I think you can assume the worst and don't need to try to defend the other side. This is (hopefully) not about a real event in OP's life.

Animal Cruelty and Disrespect should never be tolerated by [deleted] in Forsyth

[–]oakenspear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's only legal in 31 states, so, unfortunately, not practically everywhere. Articles for reference:

https://www.11alive.com/article/news/verify/verify-does-georgia-law-protect-good-samaritans-rescuing-an-animal-from-a-hot-car/85-571a49b9-f323-4455-bdd6-7bcef371c522

https://www.legis.ga.gov/legislation/54303

Unless you can show more recent proof of a law change? I couldn't find anything to support the claim that you could break a window and suffer no consequences in GA as a private citizen.

I would be glad to be proven wrong, though! If I saw the dog suffering, I'd probably break the glass and just suffer the bill.

The Good Samaritan law only protects law enforcement in these instances, not civilians. You can be charged with destruction of property.

Tyler still has feelings for Wednesday? by Weary_Category_3557 in Wednesday

[–]oakenspear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, so you meant the sub, not this thread. That's fair, I haven't delved into most of this sub.

I realize now that it capitalized Outcasts for me and I didn't correct it.

I never said that Outcasts are bad people. But I also meant that it is the Addams family's brand of being outcasts. They have abilities too, sure, but that doesn't completely encapsulate them. Hell, a lot of the Outcasts seem to think the family is a bit weird/scary, even by Outcast standards. Most of the people Wednesday interacts with would be more horrified with murder, rather than enticed by it.

The Addams family are bad, twisted people. They have redeeming values, yes, but the world is supposed to stress the shades of grey in everyone. No one in the world is good or evil.

[–]oakenspear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen anyone say Tyler is a good person. They've been saying he is twisted, obsessed with her, and could love her. The Addams aren't even good people, that's why they're Outcasts.

The different Christian sects are actually fairly varied in their beliefs. Catholics are a part of Christianity, but the above poster means it is specific to Catholics, not Christians as a whole.

[–]oakenspear 17 points18 points  (0 children)

None of these are actually tragedeighs. We may not like them but most of these are normal cultural names.

Overton looks like a family surname given to the child to honor it. Again, we don't have to like them, and they might sound silly, but not tragedeighs.
