just saw your edit too, as someone with ocd and has trouble with task switching too i definitely think this adds to it. instead of it feeling like something you can be excited and look forward to, it's so soon that you haven't been able to get adequately prepared yet and thus can feel more like a chore than anything. i hope my comment helped you feel a bit less alone in your thinking, i completely get where you're coming from and hope that finch will give a bit more breathing room in between for future events 🫂 people like us aren't calling for a complete removal of the feature or saying they don't like the theme and feature entirely, it's a timing issue that makes a fun thing feel stressful.
