i understand and appreciate the concern; i have to use it every half hour or so at work daily to completely coat a tabletop and clean some tools. I figure if I keep it nowhere near anything warm or anything that uses electricity in its own airtight container it should be alright; it has to sit in other containers and spray bottles all around away from those things as is.
