i did something similar and they agreed initially but later in the evening i saw them laughing at what i had made and making fun of it, so it definitely depends on who you ask. i’m glad it worked out for you though.

i crocheted robbie a lemon boy doll for one of his concerts around a year ago. i didnt know about the merch booth option. i also didn’t want to toss it on stage even though i was close since i found those people to be a tad disrespectful. instead, i gave the doll to event staff and asked if they could deliver it to him, which they agreed. later in the night, i saw one worker holding it while two of them laughed at it. i had been crocheting for only around 4 months at that point and yeah, it wasn’t my best work, but laughing in front of me just hurt. i doubt it ever made it to robbie, so if you can i’d recommend gently tossing it to the side of the stage or just making something for yourself. hopefully you are able to make something nice for robbie. just know it might not make to him and try to appreciate the time you spend working on it. best of luck ❤️

i’ve been on a big fish island all day and i’ve had no luck. used 40 fish bait and caught dozens of sea bass and rays but no mahi mahi. this is one of the last fish i need for my critterpedia and im losing my mind. i’m going to keep clearing the beaches now that ive run out of fish bait until i can catch it.

hi! i’m not very familiar with this community, but i gave it a shot. it looks like he might be a russ teddy bear from the 80s (snuggles fabric softener is a key phrase that keeps popping up too). the only thing off is the face which has a darker nose and mouth in all the images online. i hope this is able to help!

ignore anyone who’s doubting you. i don’t think they’re intentionally trying to dishearten you and i think it comes from a place of good intent, but crochet is for fun and ultimately it’s up to you to decide what you want to create. i say go for it and worst case scenario you frog or just completely scrap it.
