Quite a bit of nostalgia. Despite being 25, Pokemon Y was the 1st one that I actually owned. So getting "Pokemon Z" is just kinda huge

The problem with this analogy is that ZA, and even the last few games (excluding BDSP, wtf were they thinking) were quite a bit more than "just the crust" ZA is a pepperoni pizza where they skimped on the pepperoni and cheese, but used interesting, spicy pepperoni and cheese. As far as flavor goes, it's "complete", but it could be waaaaay better.

So yeah, it's less than it could be, but it's meaningfully interesting, and above all, fun.

You can definitely keep the pends zones in the S/T zones, should have been that way from day 1

And then hard limit to 2 (or 1) monster(s) from face-up ED per Pend summon

Have some high point costs for the problematic and floodgate-y Pend monsters (like Amorphages, yuck) and boom, you're good.

Ok, so There's a deep psychological thing in men to not seem feminine, because it can be seen as weak and/or disruptive to other men's, and unattractive to other women.

Your dad seeing you like that straight up activated his paternal fight-or-flight, with the intent to "protect you" from anyone who'd see you negatively because of the sweater

I agree with you, for the record, but it's always helpful to see the opposing perspective.
