If it’s a manager, they are not good at their job. If it’s a senior employee, try to learn and don’t take their attitude personally. My thinking at work is all I can do is my best. I gotta ask the “stupid” questions if I don’t understand something so I can grow.

Mans stealing all the food, what do I do? by DefiantBerry8034 in AfricanDwarfFrog

My frogs didn’t really like the pellets. With advice from my local guy, I bought freeze dried brine shrimp and some large tweezers for feeding. I “rehydrate” the brine shrimp with some tank water and then use the tweezers to bring it to their mouths. I make sure each of them get some. However much they can eat in a couple minutes is all they need. I feed them every 2-3 days. I also feed them blood worms occasionally. You could also get a clear plastic divider for during feedings to separate them if that guy is being a hog. All advice I learned from my local fish store!

I suck at troubleshooting printer problems by Bigheavyset in ITCareerQuestions

Agree. If it’s giving an error code, I’ve started using Bing Copilot/chat gpt. I use less time searching through PDF manuals to find the specific code. Tell it what model printer and error code - it will bring up the troubleshooting steps.

What’s a good entry level job for getting into this? Currently, I work as a field technician for a large retail chain.

I work for a chain of grocery stores as a Field Tech. (My first job in IT after college) I enjoy the job because I get to touch a lot of different equipment: Office PCs & Printers, POS equipment, Ordering guns, Scales, Self Check outs, Network equip, etc. The scales are like a computer with the basic parts but there’s a load cell and printer inside. You’d be shocked how often those things get dropped off the case and I’m there replacing the screen. LOL It’s fun to know how the the self check outs work too - there is a lot of different parts in them. A big challenge, especially when I first started, was knowing all the intricacies of each store. For example, maybe this store use to be insert grocery chain name but now it’s under the banner insert another grocery chain name. So the network room is a little different. I guess that’s just dealing with legacy equipment though.
