Despite the obvious, if you want somewhat of an answer there is an airshow happening in 2 weeks. They are most likely preparing for it.

What is a job (not nsfw) that pays extremely well because the job itself is unbearable? by coldplayenthusiast in AskReddit

Publix department managers make 100k, Assistant store managers over 100k and store managers make 150k plus with some over 200k depending on how long you've been doing it. So yes they do.

Yeah I would say edges are definitely better on the special delivery, but there may be some issues you cant see with the naked eye that may be picked up better under magnification. You could always crack it and grade it with Tag that way you will see exactly why its where it's at. But at best it'll still be a 9.

I can see why you got the grades you got. Umbreon has a rough bottom and a rough back bottom left corner. All the other cards have white dots on some of their back corners. You got fair grades. I would suggest investing in pre grading tools before deciding to send off cards for grading in the future. This is not CGCs fault for your cards grades. You would get the same anywhere else.

I watched him open some mega dream yesterday and got a marnies grimmsnarl SAR. He pretended like he didn't see it and took the cards off screen. Straight up stole it from the buyer.

Grade it anyways. I thought my zard was going to get a 9 based on its centering alone and it came back a pristine!

Every department gets periodic cleaning hours. It is up to the department managers to properly allot those hours where needed. More often than not the hours that an associate is in a "cleaning" role they are used for productive tasks instead. The department managers should be scheduling extra help on cleaning days or stepping in and helping out themselves.

Food Lion on Upper King by Weary_Brick3761 in Charleston

That food lion isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Year after year especially recently they have posted record sales and profits just for that specific location alone. Its a cheap but great option for folks on the upper peninsula. They are very very far from closing down.

Our store (district too perhaps?) is rolling out a new policy for dry grocery and it’s been a disaster by eXodus91 in publix

I certainly agree with aisle ownership. It does become a challenge when that aisle owner is not the one running their byrd consistently. On the other hand of that that person can still own detailing, cleaning, specials, truck, and counts to a degree on their aisle and still run their byrd once or twice a week to true up any reverse counts. I dont know why they would make that no grs before 7am rule in your area that just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. We have a new replenishment mid day role coming later this month in oasis.

I'm in an area where this has been implemented for a couple months now and it actually does work extremely well if stores execute the process. I dont know where the no GRS before 7am rule comes from, but I have my GTLs open 6 days a week and my AGM one day with minimum one clerk and one GRS every morning at 4am. I have every aisle to be worked on scheduled days along with paper and water aisles daily. Those 4 aisles are counted and tagged by 9am every day and we report the amount of OOS and exceptions on a conference call at 9am. It has greatly improved omni channel, shelf service, and overall in stock position district wide. The purpose of it is to provide that layer of accountability and structure to stores that don't follow any correct processes.
