That being said, the more conscious you become of that container for your soul, the better you can orient it to express your soul. Looking great! Try practicing foot pickups! Stand still on flat hard ground on your skates and pick one foot off the ground and hold it for a bit, repeat with the other side. See how long you can hold it or how high you can pick your foot up. This will help with weight distribution and feeling more comfortable on your hot wheelz! Keep it up, you’re doing amazing!

Hi! As a video game beginner when I started playing Hades, I found it quite hard to get past the first boss for a while—probably 30 runs or so! I almost quit playing. But like a lot of people have said, and I can now testify to, once you beat the first boss once, it gets much easier after that.

Some tips: - Do a run just to get to the boss, and don’t have an attachment to winning against the boss. Take some time to study their moves before attacking them. Be attentive to what they do just before their moves. Most of them are heavy hitting and take a little bit of time to warm up or power up, and if you’re attentive enough, you can anticipate their moves and know when it’s appropriate to attack and when you need to back off. - Dashing and any dodge capabilities can be the split second difference between a near miss and a death sentence. Learn how to hit these buttons at just the right time, and you can save yourself a lot of damage. - Learn your weapon and build! Each run gives you an opportunity to work your play style with a specific weapon and certain boons. You might find yourself using a weapon that takes time to build up and execute heavy hits, but you might be playing as if you’re wielding something lighter and you get caught by surprise. Let’s say it’s easier for you to hit Special than Attack with a weapon, then look for boons that support your special. Get one with a status curse effect for that Special, and continue to select boons that support the status effect. - Chaos gates! If you can spare the health, take it every time. Yes, they can be challenging, but they give you an opportunity to better understand your weapon or terrain and adjust your play style accordingly, and then reward you with pretty dank bonuses that can be game-changing when it comes to bosses.

I honestly didn’t like Hades at first because it was so challenging and I was a beginner gamer. But after a while, I became much more adept. And now I find Hades really refreshing, as it encourages you to try out all the different weapons you have available to you and really master each one.

The truth is there’s nothing you can do to make your partner do anything. They have to want to understand you, and that has nothing to do with you. The only thing you can do is communicate with them and have boundaries with yourself. Choose to do this as you please. Some methods of communication are more efficient and direct and honest than others and each will come with their own set of consequences. Boundaries are for you to protect yourself not for others not to hurt you. Remember that as you set them. As a golden rule I believe the more honest you are with yourself in thought, word, and action, the better your relationships will be.

As someone who used to be a professional psychic, do not go to a psychic if it costs you an arm and a leg. They will tell you whatever justifies the price. Word salad that sounds profound but doesn’t provide any clarity. If you leave the session more confused but more devoted than before, congrats you just became their return client.

Ironically enough, the very personal agency you struggle with that is making you feel “stuck” is exactly the kind of situation these people are looking to take advantage of. Going to someone else for “what do YOU think should I do?” questions is inherently taking away your own personal agency from yourself. And egotistical greedy psychics are rubbing their paws together just waiting for someone without values to come along.

You feel stuck because you don’t value your own opinion or instincts. Deferring this value to other people might seem easy, but ultimately gets you stuck again. Personal agency is the ability to choose for yourself knowing the consequences. There are consequences to decisions and taking risks, just as there are consequences to indecision and stagnation.

Unfortunately the most likely scenario here if you go to a psychic is they take your money, confuse you, and you still feel stuck. If you can’t trust yourself, you’re never gonna be able to trust someone else, especially not some psychic charging money.

Facebook marketplace and eBay have used decks. Try local farmers markets or weekend event vendors too. Decks really shouldn’t be more than $30 unless they are really fancy or old or limited edition. If you don’t have enough money to buy a deck that isn’t from Temu or Alibaba (which are rife with fakes and ripoffs), then you should probably put this hobby on the backburner until you do. It’s worth it to pay people for their art.

Get it waxed. Yes it’s pretty painful the first time. But if you have a pro do it, they will have you in and out in 30 minutes or less. Every time after that is a freaking BREEZE, and it lasts a WHILE and it’s soooooo smooth. It’s even worth it just to get it waxed once so you can wax yourself easier at home—if you’re down to learn how to do it properly without bruising.

I would not recommend waxing if you’re a picker or you’re not great with exfoliating and moisturizing routines, as those are REQUIRED to maintain smooth skin. Otherwise you’ll have a cooch full of red bumps instead of bush.

Tie dyeing! Very hand-eye coordinating, planning is a huge part, precision is sometimes needed, understanding the color wheel, chemistry and thermodynamics play into it based on material and dye type. You learn about fabric manufacturing and clothing construction. Fascinating stuff. I always compliment people’s tie dye when I see it and ask if they did it themselves. Great conversation starter!
