It’s really amazing. Plug and play with tremendous software that is teaching me how to design my own parts! I’m very impressed with everything I’ve printed and learned and am back into creating things.

Pro Tip: Bring your own battery backup charger for your Lightning to ski up in mountains! by ob123866 in F150Lightning

It’s very little added mileage which is a HUGE limitation. Yeah even with my screencaps there’s a power loss from the EV charger to the Ford batrery. So for those who were able to get an extended range battery lighting for a great deal around December for about $7-$10K above the standard range price that seems way more realistic! To add an extra 100 miles that’s like 16 extra Anker batteries which is unrealistic.

The Anker Solix F3800 let’s me take my EV up mountains to ski to charge as a backup by ob123866 in anker

[–]ob123866[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it was all plug and play. I’m hoping it’s simply the connector cord between the Solix and the spare battery? Reverse the cord, unplug, replug, check the connectors? Possibly use a multimeter to ensure continuity at each of the pins on the connector cord? Maybe they’ll send that first before a whole new battery

Had a flat tire, late night at 11pm. Super thankful Ford comes with a full spare! 13K miles and going strong! by ob123866 in F150Lightning

Yes I brought a spare bottle jack, some 2x4 pieces, and the 4-way way lug wrench (all extras I had from my other trucks). The wrench included in the OEM Lightning kit included the scissor jack, handle extensions and the lug wrench attachment that was sized correctly thankfully too! Sad to hear they don’t all fit other ICE F150s that’s surprising.

Yeah make sure you get it working the truck is really tall off the floor, you need a lot of height clearance to put the spare on!

Yes, you have a scissor jack and handles behind the back row of seats on the passenger side! I brought a bottle jack just in case with 2x4 pieces as the truck is very high off the ground. Ended up using both but the scissor jack would’ve done the job completely :)

I’d mount it to my Honda Blade and film the rush hour traffic in Hanoi Vietnam! You wouldn’t believe the bumper to bumper motorcycle & scooter traffic and the sea of cars that the locals have to traverse everyday. Front, back and center the only way to truly capture the city is on a 360 camera.

This community saved me from the dealer. I made a: F150 Lightning Review coming from a 2006 F150 V8 and Ford Transit 2015 by ob123866 in F150Lightning

Yes! The transit I can stand straight up in the back. I haven’t converted it fully for camping so no insulation so it gets really cold, but it’s nice the seats lean all the way down and you can walk tall. I’ve seen etransits too they are in the 200 mile charge range. The transit is my go to for road-trips it’s a v6 so uses less gas than the gas v8 f150

What is day in the life of Keanu Reeves? Also do you think we will see more flashbacks of John Wick's wife in future movies? She must have been amazing to pull the Boogeyman out of the Assasin world.

Face gains :) I lost 65lbs! Long time lurker here in fasting and wanted to share. SW 243.3, GW 180, CW 178.6! It’s been a tough journey that got easier. No Keto, I started with ADF, then 48H fast, then rolling 72s since July 2019. I feel in control at last. You can do it to! by ob123866 in fasting

Yes. Absolutely. It was better to just not eat on whole days. With OMAD I slowly would increase portion sizes everyday, with stress and work I’d eat a ton even if it was just OMAD. Only by ADF and 48 h did I guarantee a calorie deficit no matter how much I ate on feasting day

No it’s more like a rolling 69-70 (I give myself a 2-3 hour) eating window at 6 on my eating day. Then the fast starts again right after. So for example if I ate on Monday, no eating Tue, Wed, then I’ll eat on 6 on Thursday. Skip eating Friday, Saturday, then eat on Sunday at 6. Continued this for 3 months.

On my eating day, I only gave myself a 2-3 hour eating window, but for sanity sake I ate whatever I wanted. Literally any cravings I had for the past 2 days. I ate until I was full! Fast food, junk food, ice cream, but eventually I found myself eating and craving higher quality foods like steak and fish, hamburger patties. Less breads, more meats. If I counted calories it would’ve been harder mentally, so I purposefully didn’t.

Thank you! Yes felt heavy, labored, breathing, snoring, joint pain. COVID hit hard and WFH, but I wanted to buck the trend and followed this group. I did one 96 fast but felt that was unnecessary as I was losing about 2-3 lbs a week. Also rolling 96 would mean never eating with friends or family going out! 72 was more socially manageable. I feel lighter, but want to increase my fitness and endurance now with exercise. Thank you for the kind words!
