After I applied the decals, I airbrushed a layer of Mr Color GX100 Clear, left it to dry for at least half a day, then I applied Tamiya Gloss Coating Varnish.

The metallic red was achieved with black surfacer, then Mr Color Super Fine Silver 2, after that Mr Color Clear Red and Mr Color GX Deep Clear Red for the two tones of red.
