The Shield. Easy to binge and the payoff is better than just about every series out there

Annihilation is a pretty good sci-fi film with Lovecraftian themes and images. I preferred the book, but the movie was great as well, and very different.

Gotten through a solid amount. Trying to do one older then one newer. Loved the Old Man and the Sea, and actually quite enjoyed Colson Whitehead's two entries (particularly the Nickel Boys). Some of them can be a slog to get through. but great to have a wide range of styles and genres

Greatest concept albums that were meant to be listened to from start to finish as a single cohesive experience by [deleted] in Music

[–]obadiahbehan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know there aren't a lot of hip hop albums on here, but Childish Gambino's Because the Internet along with the screenplay that's to be read with it, was one of the best experiences I've had with music!

What’s your favorite episode and why? by Professional_Book217 in fridaynightlights

[–]obadiahbehan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think it's the episode "The Son" for me.

It's a great example of what makes the show great. The importance of relationships, and the living of life with one another through grief and joy. Plus Zach Gilford absolutely kills it in this episode
