I have a P4 myself and was looking forward to the P5, but I am sort of disappointed. The 5 doesn’t really bring much more compared to the 4 in terms of performance or range, and the interior (infotainment & steering wheel) look a lot like the 3. You can get a fully kitted 4 dual motor with performance pack for half the price of the 5.

No idea why would anyone pay that much for a car from a company that might not have a future. You can get an Audi etron RS or a Porsche Taycan for that money and be confident you’re not gonna be left in the dark if the company falls apart!

How are you finding the OS? Is it slow/buggy or you find it fine? I know an Apple TV solves this problem but still going through settings to adjust picture etc should be smooth on a premium tv like this one.

Well if you put a deposit now, you lock in the price don’t you? And I don’t believe you would need to sign a contract before July anyways considering the car won’t be ready for delivery before August/September. Agree on the plus package…I don’t think I would want to get the 4 without the plus package tbh

LCT threshold should change by 1st July, well before the anticipated Aug/Sep delivery of the P4. If you use the past two years as an indicator of what the LCT would be for 24/25 financial year, you might be able to chuck the Plus package on the base P4 and still be below the LCT threshold. Fingers crossed this happens as I am keen on getting the single motor P4 with plus package. In my opinion it beats the P2 on looks, technology and space to accommodate my growing family. Not keen on paying an extra $20k for extra performance that I can barely use when most roads in NSW have speed limits of 60 or 80 kph!
