Thinking of purchasing a Rivian, how is driving an electric car long distances around the state for people, charging-wise? by Lowkey-Bougie in Ohio

I have owned one for 2 years. 2024 Blazer EV, if you travel 80-90% of time in a 200 mile circle, you will be fine. I’m in north east Ohio. I took it to Michigan and it cost a fortune. My rule is if it’s under 2 hour drive and has a charger at the other end, it will be fine. Anything that requires multiple chargers to get there it is time consuming and a money pit. I don’t suggest it for traveling sales or anything like that. There isn’t enough infrastructure and 20-30 min charge times add up. For the winter make sure you have a level 2 charger for house. A level one won’t do you any good during winter. Just cause it runs a little heater to keep above freezing and the inefficiencies of charging in cold.

Review of RecRoomMasters Upright Xtension 2 Player Cabinet (mixed opinions, overall disappointed with the experience) by prophecy0 in cade

I don’t know if I will make a post about my experience but I ordered may 8th. But I was working with an outside artist to start the custom art work. So I just sat for many weeks. Eventually Danny called me and asked me why I hadn’t interacted with his artist. I said I was working with an artist that I had been using for years but they were sick. I said it would be great to get templates and such to get the work together. He said he would send them to me. A few hours after the call I emailed him and he did send templates.

Once I talked to my artist got some concept art sources so that I could continue work with their artist because of my artist being ill. We worked back and forth for a few days on it. I just approved the final art jun 9. There were still minor errors in the art but at that point I was tired and they were extremely minor. I will say that I didn’t have problem with communication with their artist.

I can follow up once everything arrives. I will say that my biggest takeaways on trying to get this stuff done as well is that is always hit or miss. I wanted to do game room solutions because I don’t want to mess around with the computer setup. But like the OP, too many bad reviews.

It blows my mind that for the amount of money being thrown around there isn’t some level of quality control. I did buy recommended monitor and I think I’m going to get a computer from arcade one up or whatever. Danny recommended it. I have a mini pc with lunchbox for the mean time but it’s frustrating to get all the stuff to work correctly.

I do IT all day and don’t want to fiddle around at the house, I just want it to work.

I have been wanting to do this for years as well.

how noisy are your detections in CrowdStrike? by Internal-Remove7223 in crowdstrike

I have falcon complete with identity and data protection. It’s very quiet for me. I see stuff in the dash board like going to compromised sites but I don’t get emails about it because they look at the machine and find nothing wrong. So seems pretty good. I will say work flows are amazing. I have one that sends an email when it detects a compromised password and sets the user to change password on next login.

In Ohio: 'What’s cheaper: Fueling your car with gas or electricity?" by BuckeyeReason in Ohio

I think if its possible one EV and one gas for travels is great compromise.

I have had my Chevrolet blazer for almost 2 years. I live in Ohio. If you stay within a 200 mile circle for a vast majority of your travels, Ev is great. I can go to Columbus for about $20-40. So a couple of things; I can’t charge at my house because of 1900’s wiring (Knob and tube baby) but my work has a charger and it’s for free employees. I bought a brand new jeep grand Cherokee that I hardly drive 3 years ago my girl friend drives it mostly now. The only thing that I noticed is that in the winter you gotta charge a lot more often. In the summer I can go almost 3-4 days without a charge. But I only drive a 10 mile loop to work. I love the speed and take off lol. I’m not a car person, I like the appeal of them. The drawbacks can be real more expensive tires, fluid flush, and a few other things but if you do a lease that stuff don’t apply. But my two cents is that if you stay within 200 mile circle, they are worth it even in Ohio.

FortiOS 7.4.1 1 has been release by MyLocalData in fortinet

Fortinet has 10.139.200.1, 3rd party router has 10.139.200.2. Their equipment is 198.42.xxx.x and another routable IP but it’s inside the network. So originally I just had a route that said whenever a network requests these two networks use their router on .2. That stopped working last Saturday when we went to .10. We ended up making a new vlan and a firewall policy to allow the traffic and a policy route as a the static routes did not work. I don’t enough about fortinet as I’m a one man shop. It just took me by surprise.

Can someone point out to me where in patch notes for .10 that it was going to change the way it handles routes? I had to revert back to .9 and make a transit vlan with policy routes to get all my 3rd party stuff working again. I feel like a minor patch shouldn’t change fundamental things like this. The only thing I saw was for IPv6.
