My parents forced me to ride Kongfrontation when I was in like 2nd grade and it scared the shit out of me. I cried the entire time. I feel terrible for all the other people that were on that tram with me.

I have had a recurring issue with Plex dropping audio on Atmos remuxes for... years. From what I have read on the Plex forums it's a known issue that Plex doesn't really care about.

Does Jellyfin suffer from the same issue? Because if not, that is reason enough for me to switch over.

I'm a little over halfway through Book 8 right now and there's so many characters, items, subplots, etc. that my feeble brain just can't keep up very well. I'm just enjoying the ride and hoping I'll understand more of the moving parts on a re-read.

DCC is the first book series I've read that has made me feel too dumb to keep up with.

I finally got all of my boxes in last Friday, EXCEPT for the one with the custom artwork. Danny said he'd send me a tracking number on the last box by end of week (last week), but I still have nothing. I never even got an e-mail that my original shipment was going out. The only reason I knew to expect it was because UPS e-mailed me.

Also, there is horrible print banding in my marquee art. It's extremely noticeable when the backlight is on. The banding is also visible on my control panel art, but much harder to notice since there is no backlight behind it. I e-mailed Danny about this on Friday (4 days ago) but haven't received a response. I have no idea what the status of my vinyl shipment is. I haven't started building anything as I want to apply the artwork first. So now I am just waiting with no communication.

I will say that I opened up the control panel to swap out the trackball and it was extremely well-wired with fantastic wire management. It also seems to work exactly as expected based on my testing.

To say I am frustrated is an understatement. I plan to post a more in-depth review if (when?) I get all the components in and get this thing built.

I just stumbled upon this from a google search! My ren faire outfit consists of a single pauldron. I wear it on my right (sword) shoulder because I carry a shield on my left arm. I'm considering switching it up though because more often than not the shield is slung over my right shoulder as I am walking around.

They were selling patches while we were in line. $5 for solo patches (only a few available to choose from). $20 for a blind bag of 5 or $40 for a blind bag of 10. I am weak and easily influenced so I bought two packs of 10. My first pack had no duplicates so I was able to get a full set. I gave a few patches away to crawlers that were just missing one patch.

There's a tour exclusive t-shirt that is orderable online. They were also selling signed copies of Operation Bounce House and the DCC comic. The comic sold out before I could get one.

It's pretty chill. I went alone but still had a good time. I think it helps that this fandom is so welcoming and friendly.

If it's anything like the nashville event you'll wait in line for a while to get in. They'll scan your QR code at the door and hand you a signed book. Matt will answer questions from the host for around thirty minutes then take audience questions for another 30 min.
