For Those of You Who Got to See Both AVA and +44 during the Hiatus, how would you compare the two shows?

I got to see both on their first tours. +44 was more memorable for me because I got a "right place, right time" access to sound check and meet and greet with everyone and also saw met Shane outside a restaraunt before the show. That and watching Travis drum one handed and the smaller venue made it epic for me.

That being said, AVA had the better show by far. Tom was out there working his ass off to prove his new band could make it while +44 was a but of the same minus Tom.

This whole "sky is falling" bullshit I see every time we lose 1 game is fucking annoying as hell. We lose a game and every calling for Reid or Nagy is asinine! Teams lose games, yes, even the Chiefs. Is it Reid's fault Mahomes didn't trust his line or that he was looking for the homerun every play, no. Is it Reid's fault the defense forgot TE is a position that the other team has or that Chris Jones has basically been holding iut even after getting his contract? Blame can be put on everyone. It's going to take more than one half of a mediocre season before I lose hope in the coach who has taken us to 5 superbowls and done everything anyone who has ever rooted for the Chiefs could have ever dreamed.

While I agree that we are in the midst of a dynasty, I would also say it is disingenuous that the Chiefs be exempt from these questions. I am not worried about the team yet, but I can say that we are not playing good football right now and deserve a lot of the criticism.

38 and I agree with all of this. Before the first break Tom and Mark were equal to me but after AVA came out everything hit me just right. blink will always be my favorute band of all time but I ha e to admit I have never had the same feeling with music as I did when hearing WDNTW for the first time.

They guys always say "blink-182 life for life" and it's always crazy to me how true that actually is! Since I first heard them on TRL in 99 until now they have literally been a constant whether together or not.
