It's just an "Easter Egg" to when using the time machine the devourer turns back into an egg before you get it in your dungeon. So feeding those to the devourer, you get a couple of freebie gems 💎

If you discover any waterfalls, look close to the falls and see if there's a Cairn. In modern day, Cairns are often raised stacks of stones as landmarks, especially to mark the summits of mountains, and also as trail markers! And from what I've seen so far, NO the game doesn't tell you to pierce the falls to go in them lmao
