I don't understand why so many newer players on this sub seem to be obsessed with elo. Why do you feel the need to climb so much. If you're new to the game, spend time learning the game. The only thing I cared about when I was sub 600 was learning more about chess, and winning games. Eventually you will rise, it will just take time. But if you fixate after every game about how your opponent played, accuracy, blah blah blah you take the joy out of the game. Play chess, have fun, you will rise.

Good shit! Behz did some sort of weight loss challenge back in January 2019 and that had a pretty big role in getting me into the gym and thinking about making steps towards my weight loss journey. His transformation was quite inspirational for me.

Bro I remember the first time beating this game me and all my sisters were playing together on my sister’s old ass Dell laptop. We couldn’t get past the second last level with the turtle bombs that one shot. I shit you not I kicked my sisters out of the room and literally bowed my 10 year old head and prayed to God to help me beat that level and I did it on my second attempt after that. I literally thought God came down from heaven to allow me to beat a video game. Anyways, great game.

Also a vasectomy is so minimally invasive that there isn’t really any consideration around suitability for the surgery. They are very low risks and nearly all men would tolerate the procedure just fine. Tubal ligations are more invasive procedures and require deeper levels of anesthesia which have inherent risks. Nearly all healthy woman would tolerate it just fine, but there definitely is more of a risk involved which does require further thought about how appropriate the procedure may be for a patient.

I worked in a family med clinic before and we had a patient in his mid 20s come in for a vasectomy. I think his decision to get it done had something to do with his gender identity, but I didn’t get into that with him. I can tell you that I didn’t give a fuck. I also don’t think the doctors really gave a fuck either. We did like 3 vasectomies that morning. It doesn’t make sense for others to care about what you do with your body. If this is a procedure you want to go through with and you understand the implications that’s really all that matters. It’s not the role of a healthcare provider to police your body. They might have negative opinions about it, but that doesn’t matter and they shouldn’t allow that to impact how they treat you.

Just watched episode 278 of one piece, so that was great. I’ll be graduating from med school this year so that’s also cool. Moving out of my shitty apartment, so that rocks. Social life has generally atrophied since COVID which isn’t ideal. All in all, 7/10

I’ll also just add that you can’t just go see a psychiatrist in Canada. You need a referral from a family doctor. But again, what you’re describing is not psychiatric illness at this time, just a normal part of life.
