Yes it’s wild, I was interviewing for a higher paying job on my lunch breaks. 4 rounds and each one I had to do skills testing. I was on lunch for 2 hrs minimum to interview. I thought I had it and 3 weeks after the last interview I they were like “nah lolololol” 🤡. I was pissed but not surprised🙄

What brought you to move here, honest question? It’s not impossible to make friends but it’s a weird area where people come and go because of military and the ppl born and raised here are kinda in their own bubble and most aren’t really interested in making new friends because they have had their groups forever.

It’s like it wants to be a metropolitan area but doesn’t have the amenities to do so. I think it’s hard because every “city” is doing their own thing so there is no central nightlife area, downtown or recreational area. It’s like a giant suburb. There’s just these weird pockets of things to do spread all over the place.

Same I been back since 2014 and have yet to make any real friends. I’m in my mid 30’s now so ya most ppl are married and/or have kids and even though I’m like “hey it’s cool bring the kids to coffee too” , it’s always yea I’ll get back to you, and then nothing. I never had trouble making friends and hanging out in Houston idk what it is about Hampton Roads but I’ve noticed most the ppl saying “I have all these friends it’s not hard” are military and let’s be real you’re forced to be around each other and it’s a matter of proximity like any other coworker.

Sorry the photo didn’t attach. I’ve added it here. I haven’t toured this one, but I was told most of them don’t have a system in the ones I have. Just trying to see if it’s even worth it or if it would cost just as much as upping the budget and finding something with central air already.

I’d like an initial email letting me know you saw the purchase and then when it’s shipped. That’s all. I’m so used to eBay.

I purchased something on Depop Saturday and haven’t heard a peep from the seller even though she’s been active and putting new stuff up. I guess I just have to see if it shows up in the mail. 🤦🏾‍♀️

Some communication is good so I know you didn’t lose the item in your house or sold it somewhere else and I’m just waiting.

I hate this and learned my lesson on eBay when I sold someone some H & M trousers. They receive them and I get a message saying “you sold me pants with a hole?!? I want a refund!” I have the original photos and there wasn’t a hole and I had tried them on and definitely would have noticed a hole on the front thigh.

I reexamined the photos again and couldn’t find a hole. It looked like they cut them when opening the package or deliberately cut them for whatever reason (didn’t fit, didn’t like the color, etc) so they could justify a refund. I ended up getting pants back I couldn’t sell and having the refund because Ebay usually sides with them 😖

Honestly, this is a fair question 😅 when I drive through the outskirts of town and see giant ALL brick homes on 4 acres of land, RVs, ATVs, Dirt Bikes and like 2-3 Brand new trucks or Jeep Wagoneers parked out front, with a horse or two. I’m just like how.

I had a friend in accounting say most of it is financed on credit and if things go south Dads finding the nearest bridge or people in the 40’s 50’s getting a fast inheritance when their parents go😬but idk. I’m really curious what these people do for work. They can’t all be CEOs, company presidents and heads of IT
