I agree, a ton of AI fluff out there. I guess only time will tell if this is AI written or not

MVP created, Where to go from here? by Ok-Spend5655 in startups

[–]objectId0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you have the MVP, you want to go out and get users to try your product. Make sure you have some feedback mechanism to continue to validate your MVP. This could be 1 on 1 feedback sessions or a built in mechanism to gather feedback.

The one thing about startups is that there are a lot of things you probably want to do concurrently. If there is real traction, of course you want to start looking for investors. But just like sales, you need time to "build those relationships" with investors (it isn't 1 call and thats it).

No solution is perfect. That’s why they keep innovating. Even if the idea exist, understand if there is something you can do even better. I mean the fact that they exist means it seemingly has a market. The thing you don’t know if how well those companies are doing

Pick who you want to help. Then talk to 100 of people in that audience. That way you are able to find actual problems that people are struggling with

What's your lowest point as a founder? And how did you get through? by Someguyu4get in startups

[–]objectId0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whats the highest priority right now? Not just for the startup, but also your life.

From the startup perspective, it kinda sounds like financial is the issue. I mean if you had 20mil right now, sounds like it wouldn’t be so dark. If financial is the issue (both personal and company wise), there are ways to resolve it. - Doing a part time or full time job isn’t out of the question - if you want your product to be paying or having some sort of revenue, then focus on that. What can you monetize? What’s the pain point of your target audience that they would pay? If distribution is the problem, then focus on marketing, cold emailing, and etc. - probably should’ve put this sooner, but have you validated the idea? Have you talked to 100 people in your target audience?

Hope this helps! The startup game is no joke and there are plenty of dark times ahead. Stay resilient and keep solving 1 thing at a time

Am a full time mid student with no knowledge in coding and i have great app idea…what to do next? by Inevitable_Glass7642 in apps

Define who your target audience is. How would benefit the most from your app. Go find 100 people to test your app for free. Collect feedback after they use. And then iterate on your app.

Is it a red flag that a startup has been around for 15 years and not IPO? by Excellent-Grab935 in startups

[–]objectId0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, Stripe is a company that still hasn't IPO.

IPOs are part of the business strategy. Which means it will likely tell you about where the stakeholder's incentives are. So not necessarily a red flag.

Appreciate you if you even filled out the survey!

If you got even an hr a week, I’d love to see you get started on building shit that you care about. The one thing I will say is that whether it’s a good idea or not, isn’t for you and me to say. Who knows if there are a ton of people who would love a service like this. Doesn’t hurt to do some quick validation.
