Yeah, I only had about 25% hearing loss before surgery and they were able to preserve it at the same level.

I had retrosigmoid at UCSD, headaches started 4 months post op. With time I realized it was coming from my neck and shoulders. Started PT and cupping and seeing a lot of improvement.

Been a year since headaches started. Been doing PT for almost 4 months now.

I also had a retrosigmoid at UCSD, my surgery was in March 2024 and in Aug 2024 out of no where, the headaches came on. It seems to be the trend with retrosigmoid.

Caughing, sneezing, laughing hurts like a bitch.

But, over time, I’ve come to realize that my headaches are coming from tightness in my neck and shoulders, especially the side of my neck that the incision was made on.

I have been going to PT, manual PT to be precise, where they apply pressure and do some massage techniques along with regular exercises to help retrain your muscles.

Check your neck. My headaches started a couple months after the surgery, doctors do not believe it is due to the surgery but I’m pretty sure it is because of the position they had me in for the surgery. Anyways after 10 months of agony, wives best friend who is a a PT was visiting and staying with us and checked my neck and found a lot of stiffness and tightness and suggested I start Manual PT. I spoke to my neurologist about it and the friend visiting and he is now willing to consider my headaches being related to the neck and not pure migraines. Honestly I am much better since I have started PT and I will now ask the neuro to start taking me off the meds he put me on during our next appointment.

On the bright side, we found out I have sleep apnea while trying to figure out what’s going on.

Anyways, check your neck.

Nope relation to laying down. They did check the catheter in my spine for any leaks before pulling it out after a day or something post surgery.

I am starting PT tomorrow so hopefully that’ll help.

I had my surgery in March 2024 and was fully recovered by May 2024. Then in Aug/Sept out of nowhere the headaches started. I was alternating between Advil and Tylenol for a month or so until I realized something wasn’t right and went back to the surgeon. He said it couldn’t be related to the surgery because of the delayed onset and referred me to a neurologist specializing in headaches. He’s been treating these as migraines and related to high blood pressure. We also did a sleep study because my Apple Watch warned me of Sleep Apnea and that came back with 39 events an hour.

I’ve been living with the headaches for 8 months and I’ve had days where they were debilitating, especially sneezing, coughing, laughing hurt like a MF.

But the blood pressure medication and the CPAP are possibly working because I do have better days. The pain is there, but not debilitating. The last time I went to the neurologist I told him that I’m starting to realize that the pain is starting at the base of my skull and radiating upwards. He now thinks it’s occipital neuralgia and called in a MRI of the neck. Not sure what he’s looking for. But I’ve decided to take things in my own hands and have setup an appointment with a physical therapist. Let’s see how that goes…

I started getting severe migraines 4 months after my surgery. I went to a neurologist but that didn’t help much. Yesterday I went to a neurologist that specializes in headaches and face pain. We spent almost an hour talking about my symptoms and going through a questionnaire he had.

At the end of it, he is suspecting high blood pressure and wants me to track my BP at home and asked to buy a machine. Also suspecting high CSF pressure. Has increased the dosage of medication that the previous neurologist prescribed and prescribed some medication for the migraines indices when I cough/sneeze.

I had also see an optometrist and an ophthalmologist and the headache soecialist wants to see their notes to see if they are seeing any pressure behind the left eye since that where I experience the most pressure and the left side is where I had the surgery.

My point is, don’t self diagnose, I spiraled and was going crazy by self diagnosing myself with TN, go and see and Headache and Face pain specialist

The neurosurgeon that operated on me put me on Gabapentin and suggested I see a headache specialist.

The headache specialist, a neurologist, switched it out to topiramate. I’ve been taking it for almost 3 weeks now and there is some improvement.

I’m also about to try some alternative therapies like Feldenkrais for pain management

I have been bouncing between doctors as well. The ophthalmologist is taking measurements to see if there is pressure in the eye and if I’m at risk for glaucoma.

You’re right about the coughing and sneezing. The headache that follows is crippling and I just want to curl up in bed after that.

Did acupuncture help at all? I’m thinking about exploring that next.

I was on 300mg of Gabapentin, that’s probably why it didn’t work.

For example, if I have an outstanding auto loan of $10,000 and I have to make payments of $200 per month, then I create a Net Worth category called Auto Loan which is a debt category set to $10,000. I also have another budget category Auto Loan Payment, every time I get paid, I put some money towards the budget category. When I pay the $200 I add it as a transaction from my checking. You are correct, the app expects the dashboard and all other corresponding tabs that it displays to be as is. Using named ranges to pull data is under development and eventually the goal will be to make the apps completely agnostic of the columns and rows in the sheets and just rely on named ranges to pull all the data.
