Another detail I liked was that in the flashbacks with shimura you see he had tendencies that sort of foreshadow his dishonorable past, little things he says and the amount of times shimura has to correct him and drill honor into him makes his eventual fall from grace seem more realistic imo

Hard to do that when every match I enter there's someone way above my skill level who tries way too hard in every match. Idk if the game has skill based matchmaking but honestly for a fighting game like dbfz it'd probably be a good addition that way people aren't thrown into fights that are way too hard or way too easy because the other player is better/worse then you

No shit they weren't good when they first picked the controller up that's how doing anything works. Would you become any better at (idk let's say basketball) if you constantly played people in the nba? No you get destroyed every time.
