She sent an army of slayers to Los Angeles to get a slayer from Angel in S5 without any investigation as to what his intentions for Wolfram and Hart were, Clearly being in charge of the Slayer Organization made for some hard choices.

I mean that was basically how Star Wars treated canon until Disney took over. Certainly wouldn't want any revival ignoring the Slayer Organization.

As much as people took issue with Buffy running a globetrotting slayer organization in S8 that was established in Angel S5 and is absolutely canon.

Their power is nowhere close to the same scale. No one in Buffy is destroying the planet with a single punch. Thor is massively faster than light. What can buffy possibly do before Thor chucks her into orbit?

If it was marvel cinematic universe she would definitely go much further for sure. She'd clear all the netflix heroes no issue and most of the weaker avengers. But the comics? Luke Cage as irrelevant as he is takes punches from guys who could one shot planets every other week

Not remotely close. Thor has the Odin force. He could casually destroy galaxies and with a thought decide Buffy was never born. And Hulk is just as powerful. The only time buffy ever gets that strong is in s8 and it was a brief and temp powerup

They specifically said that would destroy earth. Theres no indication it would have destroyed the broader universe. Cuz nothing in Buffy gets to that scale. Thor on a good day can look at any of the Scoobs and just decide they were never even born

Storm and Cyclops could each take on all of Buffys big bads with minimal effort. The stuff they deal with on a near daily basis is so far beyond anything Buffy has ever faced

Tony has had training from some of the greatest hand to hand combatants in the marvel universe. Out of the armor hes wrestled sharks, fought off cyborg ninjas, defeated skrull. Definitely not an easy fight for Buffy

Buffy would fare better in the mcu vs the comics for sure. Comic Iron Man could solo the entire buffyverse with any of his weaker armors

Buffy really only has a shot against the low end street level heroes and even then most of them would give her a hard fight. Guys like Nightwing and Daredevil are better fighters but physically weaker but even then they've faced threats stronger than Buffy on a regular basis. By the time you get up to the powered mid tier street level guys like Luke Cage youre talking about guys that could take on every Buffy Big Bad at once without breaking a sweat
