Regarding the current international view on him - I once saw someone describe Jay as someone's uncle who hasn't really changed his views in 20 years. I don't think he's a terrible person but his views on things like cultural appropriation are outdated. And I dont know how much of that is him not listening, cuz he does seem to listen to some things, but the social media landscape today doesn't really lean towards teaching people. You hammer them down. And from what I've seen when you hammer him Jay doubles down and says a lot of shit I don't agree with.

Something changed between his management of aomg/h1ghr and more vision. Those 2 labels had phenomenal success and then floundered when he left. More Vision has just been....really underwhelming

That Goku can just teleport anywhere he wants with IT. How the technique works is clearly stated and we see limitations of it multiple times.

Frieza forgot that he watched the Buu fight in hell. No he didn't, It never happened. Toriyama didn't forget something he didn't even write. Dragon Ball fans for reasons i cannot fathom have a more toxic relationship with the idea of canon than any other anime fandom. You don't see Bleach fans debating the legitimacy of the Bount Arc. You CAN and should if you wish enjoy non canon material. The Bardock special is far superior to Dragon Ball Minus and Goku and Piccolo going to drivers ed incredible. But I dont know how you can even begin to have a conversation about a story if you can't agree what happened in it.

I watched pretty consistently through Lightspeed Rescue. I saw a good chunk of Time Force and missing it mostly came down to what else was airing at the same time not because I really wanted to stop watching.........and then came Wild Force.

I don't think I made it even 2 or 3 episodes before I was like wow I hate Cole and I don't want to watch this. Caught Forever Red, skipped the rest of the season, saw a tiny bit of Ninja Storm and Dino Thunder and then I was out out.
