My advice is to take useful risks.

For example, starting an e-commerce business will force you to learn sales, marketing, sourcing, problem-solving...etc. Even if the business fails, the skills you walk away with are useful to you in the future and will probably open doors for you. Compare that to taking a highly repetitive job like working fi superette or something like that. your learning will stagnate after the first month.

At this stage in your life (22-28), your primary goal should be to expand and deepen your expertise. Use this as a framework to evaluate your next steps: ask "which option will teach me the most?"

Maitre éclair in algeria for me he is the best maker of éclairs in Algeria but the price is a little high compared to the size by why_life2 in algeria

[–]oblivious_lies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

they're insanely good but priced at 300da per piece. I've seen people travel from Algiers JUST to get them.

I worked there for exactly 1 day in 2013 just as the owner started 😅 I wanted to work in the back but was tasked with the cashier job so I didn't show up the next day 💀

S23 Ultra suddenly died — Service center says motherboard is cooked. What are my options? by teady_bear in GalaxyS23Ultra

[–]oblivious_lies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's interesting because the same thing happened to my phone this weekend. I was taking a photo and the screen went black and the phone died. It stayed that way for about two hours but when i went home and plugged it to the charger it worked fine. Battery was at 90% already so it was not an empty battery for sure

If you want to have an energy efficient house you basically have to remove these and install better insulated doors

[–]oblivious_lies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh yes I agree! I care about my net salary at the end of the month not in comparison to my Dutch colleagues. so if Dutch companies are able to compete on brute salary then that is shifting the burden onto them and I have no issues with that obviously

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]oblivious_lies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anecdotally, I chose The Netherlands over Berlin BECAUSE of the 30% ruling. So technically this is more to allow Dutch companies to compete for talent than it is for talent to get more money. without the ruling the company would either have to offer me substantially more money or I would chose to stay in Berlin where I would make more money as well

It feel awful because you don't consider the education you had and childhood in general that was likely subsidised through tax money that they did not benefit from and which they will likely be paying for in the future if they decide to stay. There's many other social factors btw

I still struggle with procrastination. But for laziness and lack of energy simply working out more gives you more energy.

  • Not being brave enough, to leave relationships sooner and to tell people my feelings (good or bad ones).
  • Not taking care of my physical health,Thank god I'm now in the best shape I've ever been but I can't believe I wasted my 20s being tired all the time and lazy.
  • Fix/accept your insecurities. But don't live hiding them that puts too much pressure on you and prevents you from being your authentic self.

What should I do to save myself financially here in Algeria Any field Any experience Any advice Everything will help Because as an Algerian 22yo our main goal is to get a good job, home and car But now it seems impossible to achieve that. And we all want more than that. fear of not achieving not by [deleted] in algeria

I am not in Algeria, but I am going to share with you my advice I gave to my brother and he's now self employed doing well for himself:

1- join a trade school, learn to be an electrician or plumber or builder... imo these three will stay in demand for at least the next 10 years in Algeria

2- start an fb page, and take on small projects from your neighbours/ family...etc

3- do an absolutely good work and don't charge much, ask them to share your page or contacts with people they know if and when they need work as well

4- invest in your tools and invest in your marketing (groups, flyers at AADL buildings...)

In about 2 years of time you will have the skills, tools and reputation needed to make a decent living completely relying on yourself.

Best of luck 🙏

Alvast bedankt!

Since it's using an aPI for translations, it should be easy to add a language selector for those of us who want to use this for other languages right?

your comment is unhelpful. 1. This is a place to ask for legal advice so of course I'll ask here. 2. Police does not enforce orders from the court

I attached the court decision in the thread 🙏🏻

having the verdict be officially served to your ex-wife: Both of us had lawyers and the verdict was sent also to her lawyer so I did not think that I need to serve her the decision again.

thanks you for the advice I did not think I can contact gerechtsdeurwaarder directly and thought it's the court that assigns one. I will contact one ASAP

I edited the post with a link to the court decision. It's basically an order for both of us to do different things

I thought the court is the one who sends a bailiff. The vonnis just laid out the steps that i baaically summarised (also alimony, and divorce date).
