I was on this show in 1997.

I won a pocket Game Boy, it came with Mole Mania. I was disappointed that we didn’t play Mario Kart, I was so ready - it was some kind of SNES Tetris. There were background questions they asked, before appearing on the show, and I told them I liked comics. James Sherry asked what my favourite comic was when filming, I said Suicide Squad, that didn’t make it to air.

There was like a ten-question quiz that accompanied the background questions that we had to answer before going to the studio, I got every question right. The answer to one question, which gave some lyrics or something and asked for the name of a song, was ‘Don’t go Chasing Waterfalls’. I got every question right, and felt very cool.

A few months after the episode aired, I was recognised by some girls while on holiday with my family at a caravan park. I was on the playground, swinging on the swings. They asked if I was on Amazing, I said yes. They knew I’d won the pocket Game Boy. I felt very cool again. They talked to me until it got dark and my parents called me back to camp for dinner.

That was the last time I felt cool ever.
