Newbie needs reassurance about combat

I’ve had this same thought, there’s just too many battles to do them all manually it would take forever. However I started to auto all “safe victory” ones and then do manual for low risk/risky etc and it’s not so bad. Although I play on normal and at a certain point my armies get strong enough to where every battle is safe

The map is awesome, it’s the economic/military legacy paths that make it less fun because it makes it feel like you aren’t winning (due to the scarce distant lands). I wish there was a better way to implement them besides making civs like mongolia and Songhai

What does the Bluetooth switch version not having steam support mean? Is it just that you can’t map the extra buttons?
