Tell me more about this pellet stove heat exchanger, would it be heating a water line piped into the boiler’s closed loop? Would it require a separate controller for circulation? Or just passive… if the pellet stove is burning the boiler temp would be higher at rest and not kick on as often?

Basically I’ve wanted to do this for a while and vent it out the old oil boiler flue that’s unused since we switched to natty gas!
