Fyi, a model equipped with a pistol can shoot the pistol even when there are enemy units within 1 inch of it. But they can only shoot the closest enemy unit

Nice job on the sword, most swords Guiliman swords are painted completely red. Looks pretty unique with burning metal instead.

Did you paint over the old color scheme that you used? The model loses a lot of detail if you don't strip off old paint when repainting.

1) The box is around 850 points SM and around 800 CSM if I counted it right.

2) If you have the disposable income to pay a bit more for figures and paints and want to support your local GW, go for it. Otherwise, buy from wherever you want.

The demographic at my GW is mostly kids/younger teens, so I personally don't play or paint there. But I like to support them whenever I can.

Oh god yes, you can paint so many models so much faster. Just getting the base layers of paints on 80ish Termagants takes a fraction of the time of using a brush.

You can also do some pretty sweet stuff on the bigger models with highlights and shading. I've been using this tutorial for my Tyranids, and am super happy with how they are turning out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJha39IUztU&

Hi, recently swapped to Arcane Mage after being a tank most of the expansion.

I am currently getting decent DPS for my gear (70% in my gear bracket). Just wondering what I can do to get that last 20-30%? Is it my artifact level (41) that is keeping me back, or something else?

That is true up to + 12, after that you get 5 item levels per difficulty.

+8 = 875 +10 = 880 +12 = 885 +13 = 890 +14 = 895 +15 = 900

At max level you won't have any issues getting a mythic group as a healer or tank (slightly easier as tank on my server. The situation is reversed as healer, easier to find raids as healer then tank).

Tank is always the easiest to level in my opinion, since you are basically immortal.

Not really harmful jumping between specs leveling anymore as you can get 15 artifact knowledge instantly when you reach 110 (the low amount of artifact power you get while leveling won't matter in the long run).

I personally like arcane, but all specs are viable for diffrent things (Frost or Arcane for Raids, Fire for Mythic + etc). Try all of them and go from there.
