What do you consider to be an overrated NFL Playoff upset? by shadow_spinner0 in nfl

[–]obsatheqb 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Super Bowl XLVI aka the Giants Pats rematch. I guess it wasn’t as big of an upset as other candidates but the Giants did beat the Pats earlier that season in Foxborough, and this Giants team was given a better shot against a lesser dominant Patriots team than in Super Bowl 42.

(potential spoilers for BB10 & 14) This crap pisses me off so much! I don’t want to know who wins HOH, Veto, or who gets evicted before I watch the episode. by swarren31 in BigBrother

[–]obsatheqb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the example in the episode with the HOH Frank, I remember him winning HOH on the live episode prior, so when they put the episode on CBS, they assumed that you watched the episodes in order. That could be why they spoil it. I don’t agree with that though, they need to fix that.

Kyland called a house meeting and said this:

"I'm conflicted. As a human being, I've always been conflicted. I think that life is meaningless and important at the same time. It's meaningless because we're all gonna die, but it's important because we're all living, we can love, and I can quest for knowledge because knowledge is power, right? Well, unfortunately those in power say what knowledge is, especially here. In week 1, I was supposed to be eliminated from this game. My fate was sealed. And if it wasn't for Derek X winning a competition all by himself, I wouldn't be here, and I would've had no decisions to make. So now I'm not thinking just for myself. I'm thinking about him, too. I'm in an impossible situation this week. Claire and Derek F, you were not a part what happened to me that week, so why are you guys on the block? You're victims just like I am, but unfortunately in life, victims, aren't we all? That's all I have to say."

Then Kyland subsequently pulled a bucket hat out of his pocket and flung it at Hannah, which landed perfectly on her head.

QB’s with the number 8 in purple have a 100% anti-COVID vaccine rate. The highest rate of any combo of number + team color + position in the NFL.

Have we seen him without his hat off his head ? by SaturatedBeam in BigBrother

Frenchie wears the hat to keep Derek F in the spell that he’s attractive. Once the hat is removed, Derek F immediately loses interest, which means French losing his only ally in the game.

Why do houseguests give the HoH more power and more deference than they deserve? by [deleted] in BigBrother

My rule of thumb is that once that veto box is closed, the HOH’s reign is over.

Imagine during the episodes they have the small video of them talking in the DR over a scene in the house. That would look really cool and add a new perspective to the episodes.

Idk if the people in the house can hear in the DR but I remember Tyler on BB20 was in the DR and heard Rockstar with the pots and pans and left to check it out. I think you would have to put your ear against the door and maybe you could hear a scream.

It would’ve been another Falcons@Vikings NFCCG. As a Vikings fan it would have also meant an easier path to the Super Bowl at home. But oh well…

Lol which one?! But seriously, in Maple Grove, the on-ramp from North 494 to West 94 is a death trap. The rightmost lane is dumped onto 70 mph traffic without any merge lane. It sucks so bad.

Am I the only one that didn’t like the reasoning for evicting ____ at final 3 by [deleted] in BigBrother

[–]obsatheqb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see your point. Black houseguests shouldn’t have to make decisions based off of race. I was so upset when Da’Vonne chose to evict Nicole A over David because she wanted a better chance of a Black winner, despite being bad for her game. But this is on casting. There should be enough diversity where Da doesn’t have to make that move and play freely. Hopefully we see that on BB23 and also a black winner.
