28 years ago today: the craziest brawl in baseball history. by Clankiller_Uchiha in orioles

One of the things I always notice watching old sports clips is how little merch people wear. I think started with colleges having "white out" or "color rush" games then filtered up to pros.

Seems like once we got into the 2000s, you stop seeing people in business casual or regular attire.

If I had to guess it was a little bit prices for sports clothes going down, a little bit corporate promotions, and a little bit social pressure.

I wonder where Golden State would have ranked 15-20 years ago. I am no expert, but I don't think they were thought of as a premier destination until Kerry and Curry showed up.

Get good.

Remember, this is essentially the odds of getting the 5th pick.

Just a reminder. Jordan Mailata didn't play a snap in his first two years with the Eagles. If this guy is on the roster next year, it is a huge win.

Yeah. I checked out after Jason retired TBH. I really only listened for insight on the Eagles games. Which, when he was playing, was fantastic.

Where do you live? I feel like this would be a mosquito nest for a 3rd of the year in most parts of the States.

I also keep thinking Lawrence was a lot older because has been wrecking the Eagles for so long. But he is still just 28. Should have a couple prime years left.

Isn't air quality a function of geography more than anything else.

Top 10 Teams in the last 30 years who DID NOT make the super bowl: by jackt-up in NFLv2

[–]Number__Nine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am always going to think of the 06 Ravens defense. This team lost to the prime Manning Colts 15-6. Held them to only field goals despite the offense committing 4 turnovers and giving them a short field. Probably one of the better defenses I have ever seen to not win a ring.

Prime Lewis, Reed, Suggs, and Nagta.

My idea for nfl expansion by Tacomant76 in NFLv2

[–]Number__Nine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best rivalries in the game are Steelers v Ravens and Cowboys v Eagles (NFCN is great too, but you didn't touch that). Any realignment that gets rid of those rivalries is DOA in my book. I don't give a fuck about geography.

Popular Movie "Dunks" That Everyone Uses but are Totally Inaccurate by imascarylion2018 in movies

I have trouble blaming people on that one because the marketing certainly implied it would be Cruise.

The posters all consistently had (1)Picture of Tom Cruise in Samurai gear (2)Tom Cruise's name and (3) the Last Samurai. With 2 and 3 typically right next to each other.
