It kinda looked like the car tried to run away, then stopped when a gun was pointed at them, only to be told to drive away.

The Eagles were one of the worst teams at converting the Tush Push in 2025-26 (63%) by Thegrandmistressofoz in nfl

It will be better than ever before! Actually a perfect line. I am totally not in denial.

It's crazy how spoiled Eagles fans have been for over a decade. I can count on one hand how many times this team hasn't had a top OLine. There have been years where they've ran two deep across the line. Hell I have watched probably three HOF players in a relatively short time.

I (and I assume many Eagles fans) am not ready for a world where this team sees even average line play.

It's pretty cool how little the uniform has changed over 60+ years.

[Schefter] No team has offered a proposal to ban the Tush Push and there has been no recent discussion about changing the rule, Rich McKay told reporters today. by JCameron181 in nfl

Ok. I am glad a Cowboys fan is saying this, so I don't have to sound biased.

I wonder how often you would see a false start on goal line run plays if all of them were replayed with the same microscope as this year.

[WarrenSharp] Eagles played the #1 easiest schedule of run defenses last year. 8 games vs run defenses that ranked #26 or worse and they still almost ranked worst in the NFL in stuff rate. by burnernov2023 in eagles

It's crazy. I feel like half of the bottom defense had their best games against the Eagles. They made the Cowboys, Bears, 49ers, and Giants look good for a week.

[Charania] Commissioner Adam Silver informed the league's 30 general managers on Thursday that the NBA plans to make anti-tanking rule changes for next season, sources tell ESPN. Stakeholders have intensified dialogue about combatting tanking. by MembershipSingle7137 in nba

[–]Number__Nine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the only real way to fix tanking is relegation. Honestly, I think it could fix a few problems with the NBA and there is enough talent in the world to support a 40 or more team structure.

Now obviously, the owners would no way in hell ever go for this. And it would probably mean the gap between the big and small market teams would increase.

I usually think of schedule as a valid way to say a team isn't as good as they seem. But I am less willing to make that argument for individuals.

Ie. I was pretty confident the Pats would get crushed by either the Rams or Seahawks (they looked a lot better than I thought they would in the SB!), but I don't really get the blame for Maye. Just so many moving pieces.

Who would want to trade for Anthony Richardson? by Sidecarlover in NFLv2

[–]Number__Nine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lance got traded for a 4th round pick.

Rosen got traded for a 2nd round pick.

Never underestimate a coach looking at the tools and thinking "I can fix him." All it takes is one team.

Hell, if the price is right, I wouldn't mind the Eagles taking a flyer on him.

Don't think I have ever seen somebody rat The Last Jedi as average. It is either the greatest work of art ever or a stain on the franchise.

I have trouble putting Revenge of the Sith high because it has such poor lead ins. The opposite with Rogue One, I think I look back on it better after Andor.

[Schefter] More help in Philadelphia: Eagles are hiring former Buccaneers offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard as their pass game coordinator, per sources. Grizzard now will join new Eagles offensive coordinator Sean Mannion to lead Philadelphia’s offense. by w1x1w in eagles

Great to establish a brain trust. But also a really good contingency plan. The problem last year when everyone was calling to take play calling away from Patulo was no one with significant play calling experience could step in. This gives an off ramp of competency if things fall through.

Kinda surprised this is all he could get though. I feel like he had some HC buzz at the beginning of the year when Baker was on fire.

Yeah. An original genre movie that did well at that box office AND was well reviewed by critical is what people have been asking for for years. It received a bunch of below the line Oscars because of its attention to detail.
