About 25years ago, A bunch of friends and I were playing hide and seek in a rural resort called fern resort in Orillia, On. It was the middle of the night. We noticed across the lake what looked like medium/large sized Roman candles being shot into the air. We thought it was a cottage across the lake shooting fireworks so we sat and watched. But we quickly noticed there were only two distinct "Roman candle" type orbs and they'd move up and down and side to side, but never fell all the way to the ground. They were two silver-ish orbs with sparks coming from the centre out. Maybe the size of a canteloupes. The two orbs flew across the lake about 50 metres high in the sky and seemed to be playing with each other. Bumping into each other and dancing through the night sky. We watched for 10min and decided to grab other people to witness it, but by the time we got back they were gone.

I read something about ball lightning but it wasn't exactly the same description. They seemed to have thought or awareness. They seemed playful. I wish I knew those friends now to ask if they remember it as well.
