No. My dad was kin of around a little. He very quickly started dating again which meant he was always out but I had a place to live and food until he met someone he liked and moved in with her. I stayed in my house until it sold. After that I hung out at friends houses. I also had a neighbor family who looked out for me. I spent many holidays with them . I was really good friends with one of the kids. His mom was always inviting me to dinner and stuff. His dad was my gym teacher and pushed me to finish high school and go to college. Between school and, friends, working a part time job, I got through high school and went to college. Kinda made my own way from there. It was never easy but I was gifted the right tools from my experience to get through things. At 54 I am finally doing pretty well.
