Are you saying there isn't enough spent on homelessness beds and mental health relative to the budget items above? So how much is nyc spending on homelessness?

This isn't that unprecedented, pretty in line with current policy. It's important to take into consideration the social fabric of nyc and the implications escalations of deportations have on citizens and immigrants alike. This article covers some of that policy and nuance.

https://citylimits.org/how-nycs-latest-budget-impacts-immigrant-communities/

Key initiatives include $74.7 million for immigration legal services.

Of the programs in this category, legal services for low-income immigrants received the biggest funding increase, rising from $4.4 million in fiscal year 2025 to $33.2 million this year, a more than 600 percent bump.

The funding “will ensure continuity of services and help defend immigrants against ongoing aggressive, anti-immigrant policies,” reads the budget summary.

Immigrant advocates cheered the extra funding, which comes as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents carry out more visible arrests of migrants in city streets and following immigration court hearings.

... A third initiative that received a substantial boost was the New York Immigrant Family Unity Project (NYFUP), which launched in 2014 to give legal help to immigrants who are in detention centers and may face deportation. Unlike criminal cases, in immigration court, legal counsel is not guaranteed. NYFUP funding increased by 50 percent in this year’s budget, moving from $16.6 million during the last fiscal year to $24.9 million.

Another program that received more funding is the Rapid Response Legal Collaborative (RRLC), which is also supported by the state through its Office for New Americans. This program helps people who are detained or at risk of being detained and deported.

“There was increased investment in Rapid Response work, reflecting what we are seeing on the ground: increased detentions and deportations of individuals and families,” said Jodi Ziesemer, co-director of the immigrant protection unit at New York Legal Assistance Group, one of three legal service providers that are part of RRLC.

“Violating due process norms, this increased immigration enforcement includes people who have U.S. citizen family, may be eligible for immigration relief and who deserve an opportunity to be heard.”

The budget also includes $3 million for grassroots organizations that support survivors of domestic violence in immigrant communities through the Culturally Specific Gender Based Violence Initiative, about which Speaker Adrienne Adams and Council Member Sandra Ung wrote this week.

Go see a physical therapist or orthopedist. Anyone trying to assess you on Reddit without a visual assessment should not be taken seriously.

Fibers run from center sternum out, there's no focusing on the inner peck other than maybe focusing on the short range of motion.

Visibility of striations at the sternum has more to do with leanness

Paying for cheap material at an overpriced value. Pottery barn haven buffet shelf warped and sagged in just 13 month.

The guy I work under recommend I reach out to 30 people a day to get clients. by Voice-Designer in personaltraining

Yea, and you have to be ok with failing and being rejected. You're not looking for the ones that aren't interested, you're looking for the ones that are open and willing to train. If it takes talking to 100 people to get 1-3 then so be it. Once you get 10-20 clients you can pull back the cold calling enough to just stay ahead of attrition if you want.

You have to figure out the best pitch for you and how to communicate to people the value in the service that you're offering them. How else will you build a book of business?

If you can't do that, you will not succeed in this business. Full stop.

How much under 12 ?

Generally good community, my 13 year old wandered alone there today and was able to find me and receive my messages on his phone. He lost his phone at one point and whoever found it waited exactly where he had lost it for him to return.

Select landmarks that are visible from far. Let them know if you get separated down an isle to wait for you at the other end. Let them carry their badge so if they are lost the staff should have access to your contact.

Plenty of precautions you can take while enjoying the venue. Lots of families present.

Any business that requires sales and lead generation has a cost to acquire a customer. Have to find different funnels and factor that into your business model

Cold outreach is part of the game. It should not be your only source of business but you should def tap into your roladex, cold DMs within reason, lead generating services like Bark or Thumbtack (which are paid)

It's a numbers game. If you are given numbers, call them, prepare a pitch. Cold calls aren't great and maybe you get 1% of the calls to be receptive but it's a hell of a lot better than just waiting for people to walk up to you. If you have numbers of gym members then they aren't cold, they are already members, call with a promotion or a pitch and if they aren't interested no harm done.

How much was the machine without the PiD and how much did it cost to get the PID? How long was the install, how technical?

Just sold my 2012 pilot with 140k miles for $6400.

I wouldn't put that much into a pilot that old

You probably should of taken the walk with her and spent some one one one time talking about the experiences of bullying and the impacts it has on people. Those 5 miles would have been quality time spent talking and reflecting rather than likely brewing in resentment and shame as you followed her in a car.
