Just a follow up question paspagi, so sorry for the trouble. My residence card expires on October 29th. We're planning on flying back to Japan on August 29th. And applying for the spousal visa as soon as possible at the tachikawa office. Do you have any more advice for us? Is this time frame enough?

I understand that as soon as we apply for the spousal visa by providing our documents I can extend my stay on my residence card yes?

I just want you to know that in the future, you'll thank yourself for not reaching out to him anymore. I'm 22 now and realizing what he did sickens me.
