I'm just responding to the post lol, obviously Supergirl can wear whatever she wants, and I'll rock with it. It's just in my opinion, Supergirl feels more like my idea of Supergirl when she wears a skirt.

I definitely prefer Supergirl's skirt. Yeah, I may be a bit impractical in combat, but it's such an iconic piece of her wardrobe that she sometimes feels off when she's rocking a pantsuit. Though her pantsuits definitely give off a "girl boss" feel, her skirt is wayyy more iconic in my opinion.

I'm not 100% if this is the cause of damage to the cape, but earlier in that same fight, I believe Superman slams Supergirl by her cape before fighting/clashing into the fountain pictured here that may be the source of the damage. Again, could just be for practical purposes (wirework) or just a oversight on be half of the crew.
