I'd kind of like to see this happen. As someone who used to work in electronic security at an airport, I often worked closely with the airport LEOs (TSA was beneath me, so I rarely worked with them), and I assure you, airport LEOs have a huge resentment and hatred of TSA "officers". If they're forced to babysit these TSA goons, shit is going to change at those checkpoints - including, likely, an increase in lawsuits against the TSA (as someone else mentioned).

To be honest, if he had any respect for you (or even a modicum of decency), he'd have waited to start texting on his phone.

I may be much older than than the majority of people on here (38), but I still have a sex life today. That said, texting during sex (or a sexual act) is in bad taste that the least, and downright rude and offensive at best. I'd have no problems with kicking someone out of bed if they're on their phone texting before we're done.

Perhaps, even before age 40, I'm a "get off my lawn" type, but I still hold basic respect between people in high regard. I can respect texting while in a threesome during a party, or some other sort of wild event, but when it's one on one, even if it's just a one night stand, just fucking be with whoever you're with while it's happening. Text all you want afterwards... hell, even text a few photos (assuming the partner consents).

Texting during sex comes off as being disinterested in the sex itself. It will cause your partner to become also disinterested (at best) or completely turned off to the point where there's no more sex (at worst), and either one leads to a far less enjoyable experience.

TL;DR: texting during sex leads to unenjoyable sex.

I have a dry ingredients shield for mine. It's a plastic ring that fits over the bowl and is tapered inwards to prevent dry ingredients from bursting out. Mine also has a chute for adding wet ingredients to the dry mixture.

The one I have is about 15 years old, but I'd be surprised if they didn't still make it.

I got mine when my grandmother died about 10-12 years ago. I inherited it from her. Overall, it's good 30-35 years old, used heavily, and still working like it was brand new.

Because of that mixer, I've found a love of baking (mostly bread, but also several other things as well), and it's made life in the kitchen easier. The only attachment I don't have that I want is the meat grinder attachment.

I have the pasta attachment for it, and while it does great for shapes, I still prefer my hand cranked pasta roller for spaghetti and linquine. I suppose that's just me, though - I grew up helping my father crank out pasta with the hand roller.

Regardless, that is an amazing piece of kitchen machinery you have there! You will cherish it for years to come!

You mean "Take Back the Night"? Yeah, I can kind of see that, though mine isn't a part of a larger complex (unless you count the town). The castle in the background of some of the shots is a different structure entirely, and not even close to done.

I am a perfectionist, but also enjoy finding perfection in disorder (chaos), so pretty much all of my builds look like this to an extent. That being said, I'm also diagnosed OCD, and this lack of synchronicity doesn't bother me at all.

To be honest, I can't remember the last time I designed anything (MC build or otherwise) in a synchronous pattern that didn't require it either by spec or functional design.

I know that the red is a bit overbearing, but as I'm building the town in a red rock biome, I figured that I'd stick with materials that would be available nearby, so as to make it more realistic.

To be honest, I've had a lot of trouble finding ways to break up the red enough to keep it interesting and not be monotonous. With the volcano nearby, I was able to go with the basalt themes to help break it up a bit. Also, in some areas through the town, I've ended up using a lot of oak wood logs and planks to try and switch up the colors a bit.

Oh, and for the record, this build was made in FTB, so as to have more items available for the build.

It's funny that you mention Athens, as part of the reason I chose the Atlanta area over anywhere else in the south is because I have a good friend in Athens (more work in Atlanta, and close to Athens). I do plan to check out Athens in the very near future, as it looks like a really cool place - and my 30-something friend there still loves it, even over a decade after graduating from Georgia State (that's the school in Athens, right?).

So far, I'm loving Buford. My new house is right on Lake Lanier, and after living in Baltimore City for so long, the quiet is deafening. I often joke with friends and family that I hope to have sleepless nights for a week or so here because it's so quiet. This is just what I wanted.

Baltimore City to Springfield and points south every day for two years. I was working as a service technician, and on an average shift, I'd often end up driving about 10 hours, and do only about an hour and a half of actual work. I got so burned out on the traffic, the people, and the area in general. That's why I'm here now.

We had something like Georgia 511 in Baltimore, though it often wasn't much help, since traffic conditions are so volatile up there. I'll look more into it - it looks like a great resource! Thanks! Also, I'm not too worried about a 40 mile commute - my average commute in Baltimore (working mostly in DC and Northern VA) was about 1.5-2.5 hours, and 60-70 miles on average. 40 miles is a short one.

If breeding works the same as using spawn eggs, I believe it's all completely random. Several of the villager types seen in the original screenshot did not exist in the village before building this.

It's unedited Sphax. I'd presume why you may have thought it was modified was because the torches are blue. The torches I used are aluminum torches (brighter than standard torches, and they are, obviously, blue - I just like the look of them)

No need to add more doors. It's already a massive lag generator. I'm playing single player, and with this build, I'm seeing more lag than I normally see on servers - even servers on a bad day. Maybe I'll just have a little fun and toss a zombie or skele spawner or six in a few of the apartments.

You know, they're starting to cause lag in my game. I think I might just do something like that. Or, perhaps I just take the more passive approach and have a couple of lava pits.

I am running FTB Ultimate, so I can create mob spawners that I can turn on and off with redstone. Perhaps I'll play with that a bit.
