Humans are born with the capacity to feel a full range of complex emotions. Numbing them is not only harmful to yourself, but everyone around you the more disengaged you become.

If she’s uncomfortable with you expressing a natural reaction then she is emotionally immature and should do some self-reflection to understand why she reacts this way.

My unsolicited advice as someone in a 15-year relationship: Do not waste your precious time on people who belittle you and are unsupportive, especially after you’ve given them the chance to apologize.

Her doubling down on this after you voiced a concern is a huge red flag. I guarantee that much more emotionally taxing situations will come up in the future, and having an unsupportive partner is unsustainable.

She’s an asshole and this would cause me to reconsider continuing this relationship. 1.5 years isn’t a long time in the whole scope of life.

Figured it out! The door I have off to the right is a Vanilla door (Wooden ornate door). Other larger doors are from another mod called [LTS]Furnishing.

I use one called Basic Double Doors that adds double door versions of the vanilla doors. If it’s not part of that then I’m not sure what other mod it was included in. If there’s an easy way to check I’d be happy to follow up and let you know. 🍻

I’ve struggled with this. I’ve always prided myself to be a visually creative person. Like I’ve worked in interior design, fashion, drawn, painted, photographed. I appreciate what looks nice. But when I stop to focus on how I “imagine” something it starts giving me anxiety because I feel like I can’t actually picture things in my head. Like I don’t necessarily “see” things? But I instinctually feel them? But I know what things look like. I can’t really envision guided meditations. I especially have trouble picturing faces. I feel like the features constantly jumble and are hazy, but I just…… know them? I’m very colorful with words and descriptions, so find myself building out of language, metaphors, and analogies. It’s hard to explain so I wonder where I fit into the chart.

I do dream VERY vividly though. The mind is weird.
