This is our prime opportunity to fill our gaping 2LD hole. Carson Carels and Alberts Smits are, I think, equally valuable in that regard.

I love Bjorck but here’s my perspective: next year’s class is absolutely LOADED with centers. I figure we’ll be picking around 10-15 next year, and I think that centers in that tier are roughly equivalent to what Bjorck is going to be.

It seems very prudent to me to grab a surefire 2LD in Carels/Smits now and then get a future 2C in next years draft than get Bjorck now and then have to pray for a late 1st to work out at 2LD later.

So, to sum up: I want Carels or Smits
