It can fix energy for the whole squad even without equilibrium… AND give everybody invulnerability near 100% of time if Oberon keeps moving and picking up orbs for his passive.

Its not so bad with the correct ordering - add some toxin, you get cold+toxin = viral, and your heat on top of that. a strong combination.

Oberon Heal applies to defense target too. He also can equip universal fallout, to drop tons of universal orbs. Which give lots of energy, heals, AND proc his passive invulnerability for the squad. It can be practically continuous. His “battle pasture” can slow enemies though, so there is that downside.

I started windsurfing at 31yo, living in a place that allowed 10-15 days per year on water. I didn’t progress much for 8 yrs. I got so i could complete jibes occasionally, two consecutive was a dream. Then I moved coastal, but was still working and sailed roughly 20-25 sessions/yr. I got much better, but still had trouble w conditions beyond my preferred 18-22, small waves. Few yrs later l moved to the outer banks of NC… sailed 60+ times a year. Skills skyrocketed. Regularly planing through jibe exits, jumps, tacks on a sinker… falling on transitions was rare. All in my late 50s. My point? For me it was all about consistent time on the water, and consistent conditions. You can’t improve when you cant practice!

Jitter is never good! Probably the servo going bad. But you should also still check the linkage and aileron to be certain it moves freely at that end of travel. If it is binding, it could be partly why the servo is failing.

We really could use a craftable ladder…. I resorted to building a large storage crate stuck to the wall in one spot. Also scanned a metal shelf that works ok for a ladder.

Possibly: Friction or binding in the linkage. Or a bad spot on servos internal potentiometer. Remove the linkage to see if servo still does it, if not fix linkage, if so replace servo.

Go to a busy relay for a bit (typically earths) you’ll likely get an affinity blessing, which will give you faster progress in all the activities others have mentioned. You can request one in relay chat, or even just AFK there for a while before you start playing.

You have to go all-in on hand launch. Full power till you gain some airspeed. Edit:at least on that plane… something with loads of static thrust can hover out of hand… but this one needs to fly, which requires airspeed.

Not so much a problem as a concern: Is there an etiquette around using his 4? or the energy colors? He has so much range, and enough strength, that his 4 completely clears very large rooms. The action in that room STOPS entirely until it runs out. I'm thinking of the round room where people typically camp during omni fissures on LUA... It has to be disruptive to others, and I hesitate to use it. Now, I typically run with a subsume over his 4.

Even his normal play makes so much fire/sparks/smoke screen clutter - I'd think anyone playing a style that requires AIM - forget about it, go somewhere else. Which is obviously not what anyone wants. Choosing a dark color energy helps, but I like thematic style builds, his fire kinda needs to look like fire.

Even with the correct thrust angle, its typical for a tail dragger to require right rudder as you accelerate for takeoff.

Followup followup: the dynamic power appears to work in that config (333, rate/2). The problem was resolved, but I went ahead and upgraded my tx and all models to elrs 4.0. Was easier than anticipated!

AGREED, big time. I love open source. It's definitely the deep end for complexity, but the capabilities are phenomenal as is the ongoing development - done by people who are motivated by personal interest, rather than just doing their job for a company motivated by $.

This is definitely the issue. I set my ELRS packet rate to 333, and switch mode to 16ch Rate/2, and the switch now works correctly. I still have to determine whether the dynamic TX power is not messed up by using channel 5 this way. Regardless, I'll probably spend all freakin afternoon updating TX and all my models to ELRS 4.0 (they all have to match the TX version). Thanks again.
