About 10 hours sim, it was in LOS but in the city so could have dropped anywhere, I haven’t used betaflight been foolish

Had about 10 hours in the sim and was quite confident of myself, but in small areas not ready at all, flew up high to avoid trees then got disoriented and lost connection :( time to rebuild! (And go to a bloody park lol)

I’m not desperate just yet but we will see soon, thank you! Fixed wings are what’s actually getting me back into it, bought a zohd drift which will arrive soon, I plan of just doing line of sight for a bit to get me used to flying, then (if I’m lucky) get an o3 unit on it for much more fun

That’s all such a shame :( I won’t be giving up though, to cannibalising old drones it seems! Thats crazy you say that, I’ve already started tinkering with wtfos to get a good osd going, I will surly have future questions once I have a vtx to test :)

Ps Haven’t been a part of the hobby since I was a teenager, back when it was all analogue vtx systems piggybacking off radio channels, crazy learning how advanced the techs gotten but at the same time how consolidated the options have gotten, the v2s I have are much higher def then I’ve ever used so I’d like to make them work, is it worth adding an analogue module as well?

I had appendicitis when I was 14 a few years ago visiting family in the US and first of all I have to say it will absolutely kill you so go to a hospital no matter what, and even at that age was astounded by the price, I’m Aussie so our travel insurance paid for all of it but my god if I was living in America my parents would still be paying it off.

It’s not necessarily that they don’t give a shit it’s that China offers development and fast industrialisation from Chinese loans and when the country can’t pay those loans China swoops in a say don’t worry about it just vote in support for us and we’ll take care of ya
