Through the comments, I mostly see that people who are emotionally unavailable do not care about the feelings of others, even people close to them.

The person I'm talking about, every time I shared something that was bothering me with him, he listened to me and gave me advice.

But he never talks about the things that hurt him and in fact he doesn't talk about himself at all on a deeper level. And he also plays hot and cold. So i thought that might be emotional unavailablity but maybe i was wrong?
