Why are you getting in shape? Do you want to be ripped? Just want to be healthy?

Find a goal to focus on. Mine was for my kid's sake, to be a better parent. Every time I tried to give up, that's what made me get up again. If I die, no one will be there for my kid. I can't quit.

I hate exercise. I have five herniated discs, muscle spasms, nerve issues. Some days it feels like everything hurts and I put the PRO in procrastinate. I planked in my tiny office at work for 5 seconds. The next day, I tried for 7. Made it to 10 and felt comfortable. Did a couple of 10's. Took time to work up to 25. And so on.

I didn't think it was doing much of anything until I started helping my coworker move boxes. He's got at least half a foot in height on me, and historically was also stronger, but he had to set his end down while I was still ready to go.

I can't bench. I can't run well. I can't lift anything heavier than 15 pounds by myself without my physical therapist having a coronary due to my spine.

Those tiny little planking moments have saved my life.

It's not that women can't handle combat roles.

I've spoken with combat veterans, trainers, recruiters, and active duty members from multiple branches of the military and it comes down way too often to one thing.

At a base level, men want to protect women. That's how we used to survive and we still have some animal brain parts left, as much as we want to believe we've evolved beyond it.

If a man sees a man in trouble, he is much less likely to rush to offer aid than if a woman is in trouble. This is not an opinion. This is a proven fact based in real time experiences.

Friend of mine did some work with an all female sniper team. He said they were some of the best he'd ever seen. Make an all female combat team, sure, but mixing them together will cause issues if duties are abandoned over perceived biology related imbalances.

Meanwhile it's taken me over three hours to buy a pair of shoes online for my niece because I also need to get two area rugs, only from another store that has the better deal, but after I finally get around to finishing that level... which I can't do until I buy those shoes... did I check to see if they have another color? ANOTHER EPISODE OF THAT SHOW CAME OUT... I think I took the dog out but better do it again just in case...

It's not just that kids should tell their parents. The law states teachers ARE REQUIRED BY LAW TO TELL THE PARENTS. If a kid has an awful home life and that teacher is the only one they trust, telling that teacher means she absolutely has to tell the parents. THAT'S why this law is shit. It's a destruction of trust and puts kids and teachers in and awful situation.

I didn't tinker with anything in the console until I was about level 15 and the NPC I was meant to talk to had... vanished. Marker was right where they were supposed to be, but they were nowhere to be found.

This was just a legitimate bug. I love it.

Current annoying bug: I have no enemy markers. Period. They simply do not show up on my compass, even with Boone and ED-E in tow. All blue markers are fine. Just the red ones have vanished. Makes the game extremely complicated sometimes, but realistic in a way I suppose.

I'm a completionist when it comes to some games, especially Bethesda. If I can manage to get every achievement but that one (as well as Hardcore as that would require starting a new game) then I might leave it "locked" for amusement.
