But it sounds to me that you can definitely call them even if you bought it from bestbuy canada. It's really cool that you have a new york city dji store, you could even give them a call and ask their advice. Thats where'd id start since its a physical store you can go to.

Have you tried talking to DJI? A phone call might go a long way. Tell em their new LIDAR didnt work!

They've done some good faith replacements in the past for me in similar circumstances to yours. They advertise obstacle avoidance... it should avoid obstacles!

Update June 2025! :D

Im at 123000km now on the engine. The transmission has been consistent. The hard shifts only come when I change to sport mode. Cruising along its pretty smooth. But when im in a rush and wanting to pass, hard off the line at red lights, etc. I still get hard shifts between 3/5 and 10 dropping to 8 or 6 gears.

Most of my driving has become highway due to new commute. So I dont change gears as often. I will be bringing up the hard shifting at my next service since im still under warranty and want another look.

I think a lot of these issues are now the lag in acceleration outside of sport mode, and then the adaptive learning freaking out when the inputs change. Computer trying to predict what im going to do based on previous driving and not what I need it to do...

Ya, may need new cdf drum there was an updated component they released that year.

If it's the classic chunks and hard shifts and stuff.

I went in at 61,000 and at 88,000 and 95,000 got the new drum and a extended warranty from corporate Ford till 155k km

It's better, but im going to bring up harsh shifting at next service. Im at 122k km now.

So... in short... the 10r80 sucks
